The internet in the room doesn't work, neither in the hotel only around the pool, there is a terrible smell of mold and humidity that enter in the lungs, I couldn't breath properly and I have asthma all night. There was no staff at night, the reception was totally closed and in the morning afer I told them the issues they just do not care.
A Magical Christmas Getaway in Mexico with hotel Jaiba.
Our stay here in Mexico over Christmas was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles, festive decorations, and an unmistakable air of holiday cheer. The hotel was beautifully adorned with twinkling lights, poinsettias, and a grand Christmas tree that instantly put us in the holiday spirit.
The accommodations were impeccableâour room was spacious, tastefully decorated with motivational quotes and art from the staff.
We hired bikes and did our laundry both of which were easy to book via the lovely staff at reception.
One big highlight for us was after asking about how to get to our next destination reception called ahead for us at the bus station and made sure we were booked on for the only bus leaving that day and even booking a taxi for us early morning. Just went above and beyond which is what you want on holiday at Xmas.
The hotel is a lil out of the way but it's sooo cheap to get into town and grab a taxi on the main road. It's also very flat so bikes were a great addition to our stay.
The staffâs attentiveness and genuine kindness made our stay truly lovely and the dogs and cats just made it all that more wonderful to stay.
The personal was very kind and willing to help. I wish I could say the same for the rest of my stay. Unfortunately the water was stinking and there were lots of ants. I wouldnât stay in that hotel again. In fact I wouldnât visit Mahahual again.
My stay at Hotel Jaiaba - a fluke scheduled during a huge mess to get on a cruise ship - ended up as the best part of my vacation week. Easy to reserve online by phone from the States last minute, and they have WIFI in the rooms which helped with my travel snafu final plans. The room was quiet, the bed super comfortable, and I had the upper level lanai with a hammock to myself. Had a delicious dinner a quick taxi ride away on recommendation by the staff, who spoke English (after a rather harrowing 4.5 hour no conversation âtaxi shuttleâ ride from Cancun). The best coffee and sugar ever. Peaceful and affordable. Thank you!
Staying at Hotel Jaiba Mahahual was a restful and healing experience and just what I needed. The hosts were friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The room and premises were very clean. Hotel Jaiba is pleasantly decorated with plants and ocean-themed decor. It is a short walk, or hotel ride, to the beach and the boardwalk (malecon). Shop for fresh fruit at nearby Super El Chino.
El precio es alto en relaciĂłn a lo que ofrecen. Las instalaciones demasiado limitadas.
La atenciĂłn de las encargadas EXCELENTE. Se esmeran por la decoraciĂłn y por la limpieza.
