How close is Jaidee Bamboo Huts to downtown Chiang Mai?
The staff was amazing mainly it was just one lady that checked me in and did the cleaning but thereâs only like 5 huts so they donât need a lot of staff. The huts are adorable, rustic feel and even though theyâre close to each other, I never got bothered by noise or even heard my neighbors. Thereâs A LOT of cats in the hotel area but theyâre adorable and mainly stay to themselves in the front area. I liked the area as well you can walk anywhere itâs like a little alley but thereâs coffee shops, a corner market, tattoo shops, restaurants etc. Even tho the restaurant at the facility is closed thereâs so many options a minute away.
this hotel is lovely, good location, night gardens and front seating with a bar, the rooms are nice, bed is comfy and breakfast is good with lovely coffee.
However I was extremely let down by the sheer noise at night time from other guests at the hotel.
This included instances of people locked out of there room and banging in the early hours, a couple having sex in the lobby or 1st floor lounge at 3am which myself and another booked guest in another room heard and was extremely loud, and guessing a knocking loudly on doors and running around hotel drunk at 2am with loud talking from lobby until 5am. The hotel needs to have staff onsite 24/7 otherwise I would not recommend to stay here especially in the busy season if you want more than 3 hours sleep a night which ended up having a knock on effect on my enjoyment of my visit to Chiang Mai. Had there been staff to direct revellers outside or to leave the premises if they canât respect the 11pm quiet rule then this would have been a 5/5 experience.
Overall a nice place to stay and I like that it is one of the few places left in Chiang Mai that has bamboo bungalows. It is in a great location on a nice quiet street in the old city but there is really no parking, even for a motorbike it was an issue. The room was clean overall but the shower curtain had mold on it.
Personal nuy atento. El lavabo demasiado alto y el agua de la ducha no tragaba bien.almohadas muy bajas, pedimos otras y nos las dieron.el desayuno correcto.
A great service, lovely people who help you with anything you need. Very cosy and clean bamboo huts! Also a beautiful garden: a quite place in the middle of the city
Very helpful staff, great location, supposed to be cleaning everyday, but wasn't followed through with it. They were building something new in front of the main building, right outside our window. Not very pleasant to be waken by the early construction. No complaints, except for our stupidity for taking the taxi from the airport to the hotel which was 5/10 minutes away and costed us 250bth. Walk to road and take the damned song-thaew for 10bth each (20-30bth for foreigners, yeah, sucks).
Had a room in main building. Much construction going on every morning for 10 nights starting at 8 am. Forgot to clean roon one day!! No coffee maker in the room which was a first for me in over 30 years. Most of the staff were pretty new. They should have waited till construction over with but the holiday was there and I guess the wanted the money. Low water pressure then too hot and then too cold, Bad on demand in that room (triple).
Loved the location by the market and so central to everything
Spotless room -we were in the hotel not a bungalow
Good staff
Great outside area for sitting
