This isn't your typical central city hotel; it's a beautifully designed, nature-immersed retreat that feels both remote and conveniently located. It strikes a remarkable balance between rustic tranquility and modern luxury. ​Room and Comfort (5/5) ​We opted for a Luxury Suite, and the room was a highlight of the trip. Designed with thoughtful local craftsmanship, the space felt cozy, homey, and incredibly clean. The bedding was exceptional—a truly comfortable bed and pillows ensured a deep, restful sleep every night. Our room featured a bathtub on the balcony, which quickly became a ritualistic spot for unwinding in the evening while enjoying the peaceful sounds of the surrounding garden and stream. The attention to detail, from the lovely teakwood furniture to the well-stocked minibar and excellent air conditioning, made the room a genuine pleasure to return to. ​Service and Staff (5/5) ​For a long stay, consistent service is crucial, and the Proud Phu Fah team excelled. Very refreshing hotel, lovely design and definitely not as crowded. The room is well decorated and very clean, just slight delay at check in, perhaps the room has so much detail to take care of, totally understandable. Staffs are amazing and extremely friendly, this is one reason why I would definitely come back. Breakfast might not be the craziest buffet with five thousand choices, but for sure tasty and fresh, offers egg dishes of my choice served in minutes. Beverages are great too! Overall experience is beyond our expectation, would definitely come back for another cozy holiday!

I came to celebrate my birthday here and I was so well cared for. They surprised me and brought me a piece of cake in my room and sang me happy birthday, I thought it was the sweetest thing! Everyone there was also so helpful and gave me all kinds of recommendations for activities and food all over Chiang Mai. As far as the rooms and accommodations, it all speaks for itself oh my goodness. The whole space including the common space as well as the rooms are so beautifully curated. I felt so comfortable and luxurious but still connected to nature. I’d recommend this place for anyone wanting to go to Chiang Mai.
