Excellent customer service. Front desk staff even called to check on where was I on the day of check in.
Breakfast was personalised and very filling.
Within walking street to night market. But due to COVID, the night market was closed. Nevertheless, the hotel is within walking distance to many eateries.
They need to improve the cleaning of the place, also they need an elevator, if you are in the third floor you need to walk upstairs, staff are friendly but the place needs to be cleaned.
Great location right near sat night market. Massive market!! Very impressive gold palace like building. I Did feel like a princess. Good breakfast (fairly basic). The bathroom drains gurgled a lot in the night (but I wore earplugs and was fine). We loved our experience there. Definitely worth staying.
An amazing building, red and gold everywhere. We had a nice room with a balcony. Bathroom was good. Breakfast was tasty. Quite near the night bazaar and 15 minutes walk to the clock tower and restaurants and bars.
More than just beautiful decor and a great breakfast. We were checked in by a man who was appropriately named “Dream” because he provided us with such excellent service.
Dilapidated property in need of refurbishing. Room is spacious but uncomfortable bedding, A/C barely makes it comfortable. Shower is terrible, TV does not include any station in other than the local language, there was a dead worm on the shower floor. Bedroom door is so thin and the lock is flimsy: no security. There is no safe for valuables/passport in room and hotel doesn't provide any safekeeping. Breakfast is terrible and not fresh. The only good about this place are the attendants but they all go home at midnight
I think the gold theme of the hotel is over the top, everything is gold. Whilst staff were friendly, location seemed isolated with not a lot around the hotel.
Extremely bad service I would not recommend you stay here for any extended stay. The staff is very rude and unacomadating someone has slot of money invested here they should get rid of the tall boy and find staff that has a brain. Very very ignorant staff
Fabulous place to stay, you just feel wealthy staying here, gold gold gold every where. Chiang Rai quilter than ching Mai, but in a good way, great day trips, very cheap to eat, buy, travel. Top tip, if you fly in, out of terminal doors, turn right, purple bus, 20 baht takes you to main bus station, in central town, right opposite tuk tuk and taxis, sooo simple.
Stunning property! The hotel is uniquely decorated in a style unlike anywhere we have ever stayed. Reminds me of how the Thai Royal Family might live! From our warm arrival to the delicious breakfast, all was great. We will certainly highly recommend this property. Situated in a very quiet location, it is just off of the Main Street with many shops, restaurants, ATMs and the night market. As the restaurants were so well priced, we opted to eat at one instead of at the night market, which also looked good - and busy (a good sign too).
Fantastic stay- rooms are huge and the bed is comfortable, breakfast is good, and the staff at the front desk is friendly and accommodating. Yes, the decor is lavish as some reviewers note, but that made it fun and part of the experience! When else can you stay in a hotel reminiscent of Versailles? If we ever return to Chiang Rai, we would definitely look to come back here first.
