Nightmare

Host double booked the listing. When we arrived there were already guests inside because they too had the code to the listing. Spent about 5 hours on the phone with VRBO and at one point I was put on a 3-way call with the host and a VRBO supervisor where the host threatened to call the cops on us and shut off power to the apartment. VRBO was very unhelpful and overall the whole stay was anxiety inducing because of threats from the host. One room had an awful smell from the pillows that was so bad you couldn’t even sleep in there. We went and bought detergent to see if we could get the smell out but that didn’t work so we left the pillows in the back room, only putting them back once we left. Do not stay here!!

Chicago Weekend

The property was great and exactly what we needed for our stay. We had 2 kids and 3 adults. The space was well laid out and the neighborhood was perfect. We could walk easily to grab coffee/snacks plus a grocery store with a park right around the corner. The property manager made check in and out very easy and was easily reached if there were questions!

Listing is a scam

We showed up with our two grandchildren. The host does not have a working phone number in the account by the way. He said we didn’t actually have a reservation and would not give us access. We were left to find a hotel. Do not recommend 100%.
