When I made the reservation, it said that I would have to pay a $100 resort fee. When I checked in, the front desk person charged me $100 per night, for a total of $300. This severely affected my budget for this trip and I had to ask my mother to send me money. Very embarrassing! I was told the $300 would be refunded after checking out.

I liked the location and the building, best in class elevator system IDID NOT LIKE THE LACK OF INTEGRITY and HONESTY IN PRICING. ADDINGA RESORT FEE FOR AMENITIES THAT ARE PART OF ANY HOTEL AND NOT DISCLOSING IT IN THE TARIFF UPFRONT IN VERY DISTRURBING. I WOULD RECONSIDER USING THIS BRAND GOING FORWARD

Beautiful room. Great view of the Chicago River. Excellent public spaces. Great price. Comfortable clean
