It was just a one night staycation, but this was a nice place to have a short retreat. The room was on the small side, but we were only in it to sleep. It's affordable, clean, has friendly service, and is right in the middle of the theater district.

The room was very dirty and nothing like the pictures shown. Dirty toilet seat, something spilled and dried in the shower/tub, dirty windows, we could barely see outside and the tv was placed in a corner where we couldn’t watch while in bed.

The first night I woke up to a bed bug crawling on me. I killed it, took pics, and called down. They moved us to another room but I was so nervous about more bugs that we couldn’t sleep for either night we were there. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was nice. But they acted very casual about our experience, which concerns me.

The $32/night extra fee was unwelcome and was a deceptive practice. It was disclosed after the property was selected adding about 15% to the total bill. The offer was for gym (didn't use), 2 bottles of water, morning coffee which was watered down and tasted awful, and $10/day restaurant credit which I did not use.
