Petit hotel au calme.

Charmant petit hÎtel. à quelques kms du centre de Chichester. Accueil chaleureux.Petite Chambre confortable et impeccable et au calme . .Possibilité de manger une cuisine classique.

Confortable auberge entre ville et nature

Les chambres sont dans un bĂątiment indĂ©pendant du pub lui-mĂȘme, donc relativement tranquilles. Elles ont Ă©tĂ© refaites rĂ©cemment et sont confortables Ă  part quelques dĂ©tails (p.ex. la TV Ă©tait trop haute dans notre chambre). Comptez 30 minutes Ă  pied jusqu'Ă  la cathĂ©drale ou prendre le bus 700. L'atout principal de cette auberge est sa proximitĂ© avec le palais romain et la rĂ©serve naturelle, littĂ©ralement au bout du parking, qui permet de magnifiques promenades dans la lagune (Chichester Harbour)!

Lovely stay

Lovely welcome. Nice spacious room. Good facilities. Tea,coffees, water snd biscuits daily. Good hot shower. Towels too small!! Def. Need bigger towels. Breakfast very good . Fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals. Hot items are pre ordered the night before. Well cooked and tasty. Pub itself was comfortable. Food excellent. Well cooked and well presented. Ample portions too. We actually ate in the pub the 3 nights as food was so good. Only negative was i asked for extra gravy for my pie and was given it. When the bill came i was charged ÂŁ1.50 under open bar. I was a bit miffed especially as i had not been advised i would be charged. A lovely stay with just the 2 negatives. Bigger towels and either not charge or at least advise there would be a charge for extra gravy.

One night at the Bulls Head

We spent one night at the Bulls Head during our weekend away, and had a nice stay. The room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay, the rooms were around the edge of the beer garden so you can sit and have a drink right by your room if you wanted. The breakfast was very good with a good selection of cereals, fruit and full English, we also had dinner which was nice too. It is in a good location with lots of exploring opportunities, so would make a good base if you are staying for longer.

It was unfortunate that even at the start of the goodwood racing festival on a Tuesday that the kitchen closed at 8pm and the pub even for guests by 10pm. Otherwise a great place to stay and a great breakfast. 👍

A real gem. Super handy for Chichester, great bar, great food and friendly, helpful staff. Roons had everything you need, will definitely be back.

Very happy with our stay!

We stayed 3 nights a week ago. Our room was comfortably furnished and spotlessly clean. Looked newly renovated. Perfect to use as a base to explore the area. Breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of it. Very happy!

We had a wonderful stay here. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with a modern ensuite. The pub itself was charming in a beautiful area,the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was made to order with a variety of choices and the dinner was absolutely delicious. As a group of four having a ladies get away it was absolutely perfect. We would all highly recommend a visit here.

Small character pub. Rooms across garden, small but clean. Well appointed bathroom. Bed a little firm for my taste, very thin small quilt for a double bed, would not have covered 2 people. Gluten free items on menu that could not be served for dinner. Not possible to create a full main course from items available.

Great local pub, well located for Chichester and .

Excellent pub on the outskirts of Chichester. Our room was at the back of the pub in what might have been originally stables. Converted into very nice rooms with en-suite. Very quiet when we stayed, but might be noisy in the summer as next to the pub garden. We enjoyed cooked breakfast for the two days we stayed and a evening meal on one night. The pub was popular with locals for lunch and dinner, which says a lot. Convenient for local walks and the Roman Palace. We got the bus from outside the pub into town rather than drive ÂŁ5 return. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would visit again.

Comfortable room and great breakfast

We had a nice room in the courtyard of the pub. It was quite simple, but had everything we needed and was comfortable. The breakfast we had was excellent - especially the butcher's sausages.

Good quality quaint country inn

Enjoyed a lovely, romantic mini break here. Very clean room (no.4 in the garden) great shower pressure, working tv, tea, coffee, hair dryer, iron, easy check-in. Excellent full english cooked breakfast and fruit cereal etc. Although its a pub inn its a very peaceful room because the pub is more of a gastro pub and everyone went home by 10pm so we had an extremely good night sleep. Recommended!

The owner and his wife, and every other member of the team we encountered could not have been more polite and helpful. We'll definitely be back next time we're down that way. Special shout out to the fish pie, if you eat there, order it!

Very welcoming staff, and food was excellent both breakfast and dinner. The only reason I’ve marked it down a little was the mattress in one of our rooms didn’t fit the bed frame! The mattress was a double on king size bed frame. I also felt that the taped up loft hatch in our room was untidy looking which is a real shame

The Bulls Head Fishbourne

Only stayed one night in order to visit Chichester, The staff were very welcoming and everything in the hotel is of a good standard. The Breakfast was very good and plentiful. We will definitely your this Hotel again .
