Crater Lake Resort
3-star cabin near Fort Klamath Park and Museum
There's a snack bar/deli on site. Public spaces have free WiFi. Event space at this cabin measures 1200 square feet (111 square meters) and includes conference space. A library, a terrace, and barbecue grills are also featured at Crater Lake Resort. Limited free parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Beautiful setting. Well maintained grounds but no chairs outside at our cabin. Cash only at the store was inconvenient since we weren't aware beforehand. Very nice staff and convenient to Crater Lake.
This property was a bit misleadingâŠwe stayed in a âglampingâ tent. It just had a mattress and nothing else. It was more like âcozy rustic.â No electricity or other amenities. There was also only two bathroom stalls and one shower for the entire place. However, the creek was very pretty and the lady working the desk was friendly!
We stayed here really just to sleep (yurt) which was overall, clean, very comfy, and dog friendly! However, we unexpectedly got there 40 minutes early and could see there were no cars or sign of residency at the yurts and asked if we could check-in early so we could get going to our hike. The employee working the front desk asked us to wait until 2:45 to come back in the office to check in. We did so, and when my partner went back in to inquire, he was told that check in was at 3 and they would not accommodate. It felt very offputting and rude, and kind of put a damper on our stay. The rest of the employees that we ran into on the grounds were very nice though!!
This location was very convenient south of Crater Lake South Entrance. I realize that most of their visitors are tourists to Crater Lake NP, however, the nitpicky reminders were a bit tacky. Iâm either really embarrassed that other tourists donât have common courtesy or the staff and management are tired and impatient and donât want to be bothered with nonsense. When you work in hospitality, itâs inevitable. The reminder upon check-in to take a photo of the room code was smart, however reminders that early check in are not available, late checkout is charged $30 hourly and another night after 2 hours, in the cabin reminder to: wash dishes before check out or you could get charged, donât place wet dishes in cabinet or you could be charged, use towels for shoes/pets at entrance not bath towels, donât unplug TV or you will be charged, donât forget to tip housekeeping, donât call after hours about internet or TV issues as they arenât emergencies. I am sure they are important for management and staff sanity, but as a guest, the reminders could be phrased more pleasantly. Itâs a nice property with a beautiful stream close by.
We arrived after check-in time, they had our check in packet posted for us. The cabin was clean and nice. There was a great little nature trail to walk and the location was perfect to head to Crater Lake National Park. We had a great time!
Nestled near Crater Lake amongst trees and mountains, this intimate resort with its individual cabins provides an outdoor living adventure within the safety and security of small clean safe cabins with every amenity needed. Canoes to paddle on the clear water creek, a walking path around it, and plenty of other distractions for the family or for a solo traveler like me. Check in at the little store, which is stocked with anything you need and staffed by very helpful people. I wish I could stay longer...
The staff was rude and bothered we we there. Clean towels seemed to cause the world to end. The complimentary firewood is a lie. The internet access is atrocious. The cabins are small and cramped and the shower is so small I burned myself bumping the handle.trying to turn around. The ac is too small for the cabin and could not keep up on an 80° day. The ceiling fans are not adjustable, the range ignition is broken. Daily maid service is not available. Got attitude asking for trash bags and bathroom paper. Take the trash out and do all your dishes or there is an undisclosed charge!!!. Do not touch the tv ( 15" monitor)or there is a charge. Complete waste of money.
The Crater Lake Resort was outstanding. Expedia made an error with our reservation. The staff of the Resort worked with us to resolve it and made sure we were given the accommodation we should have received. The cabins are clean and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We will go back.
