Blue Bungalow on the Bay

We had the best time staying at Blufin Bungalows & Marina! Perfect location to enjoy all the fun and attractions Chincoteague has to offer while also having a quiet little oasis to take in nature and enjoy the sunrises and sunsets!

Perfect for weekend getaway!

The bungalow was perfect for our anniversary getaway. It was really nice being able to bring our dog along. The space was very clean and well equipped with your basic needs. We loved the screen porch the most - sitting out there with our coffee watching the calm water and sunrise was magical.

Wonderful Thanksgiving

Stayed here as our family on the island couldn't have pets. Was a wonderful experience. Will be back to stay again for sure. Very clean and beautiful view of the bay. Very relaxing and made a tough visit back to the island a little bit better.

Fabulous stay on the water!

The property was immaculate! Just like in the pictures it better and it is brand new! They have everything you need and are very friendly. We plan on booking again right away!

Beautiful View

We enjoyed our time in the Bungalow, the screened porch was a lovely place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The pool is perfect, as are the onsite water sport rentals. As they just opened there are a few process kinks to work out, but the GM Garrett seems up to the task.

Waterfront spot on Chincoteague

This was a perfect spot to spend our anniversary weekend. Right on the water and we enjoyed the beautiful view. We met up with a relative who docked a couple of nights at the marina. He was very positive about the marina experience.

Pool rating was given 1 star because Vrbo requires a selection. Did not utilize the pool during our stay. Property management should ensure all rooms have blinds or blackout curtains on windows due to the sight line from parking lot into bedrooms and the due to the bright street lamp in the parking lot. Property was very clean and check in/out was painless. I would recommend to friends

Wonderful experience

You feel like you're on a houseboat even though it's on land. Views are excellent. The property manager, Garrett, was great. He helped get our TV set up to find channels we wanted. Very pleasant and patient with older folks like us. One suggestion....put some sort of wall sconce with a light in the living room corner. The room is too dark at night and the ceiling lights are too bright. Hard to sit on the sofa and read. Everything you need is provided. We will be back.
