Peaceful and stunning waterfront home! Located on a quiet side-street, Heron's Cove features a reverse floor plan with all bedrooms on the first floor, and the main living-level on the second floor. This allows you to capture and maximize the fabulous bay views! The second floor also features a great room with cathedral ceilings, fully equipped kitchen, gas fireplace and screened gazebo. In addition, there's multiple open decks and a shared dock into Little Oyster Bay. There are three bedrooms that each have a king size bed, and one bedroom that has two sets of bunk beds. Each bedroom has a private bath. Luxurious comfort while surrounded by Chincoteague's natural beauty and wildlife! Floor Plan: Downstairs (first level) features 4 bedrooms, all with attached private bathrooms. Two of the downstairs bedrooms and the sitting area have private waterside balconies. Upstairs features an open floor plan with the kitchen, living room and dining area. There is also a full bathroom (shower only) upstairs.

- Linens and towels are included with your reservation.
- No smoking is permitted on the premises.
- This property is pet friendly with a pet fee per pet. Pet fee is $150 per pet. All pets must be disclosed prior to arrival.

Great rental for families

Bright spacious home with lovely views. It accommodates large families well and is also very suitable for sharing since the bedrooms are comparable and each has its own bathroom. We would rent again.

Great Short Weekend Getaway

House is located in a great area with water views and access to a dock that is excellent for crabbing. Bedrooms are spacious and each with its own bathroom which is very convenient. Even the dogs had their own welcome treat bag for which they were grateful! Easy to communicate with the owners. Will be sure to keep this house on my list for future visits to Chincoteague!

Great floor plan & area

We enjoyed our stay. The upper floor has a beautiful view and is a super gathering spot while the lower floor has 4 en-suite bedrooms. Worked very well for our group of 7 adults. Location is nice as well. Biking distance to the refuge and an easy walk to a few shops and restaurants.

Overpriced and shady

I’ll say the positive: the house is lovely. I’ll say overall the experience was negative. The cost for this stay was high, which leads me to believe it would be a more upscale experience; however, the nickel and diming, especially in the off season was tacky & felt very shady. I selected linens when booking—and specifically looked for something about fees because this was a first. I had never had a home not provide them. Then, day of, I received an email about not having linens—when I confirmed that we did need them (since we had already left) we were told the fee would be $299. Absolutely ridiculous! We didn’t have much of an option so bad to do that but that out such a bad taste in my mouth for the entire stay. Add insult to injury—the towels were rough and raggy and the sheets were not soft or comfortable. There was then a laundry list of things to do to clean before our departure on top of an envelope to leave a tip for cleaning service?? We paid a linen fee, pet fee, and cleaning fee—there should be no expectation of us cleaning (for a 10am departure) nor an expectation to tip—paying their staff is on the properties responsibility, not ours. I would not recommend this experience namely because if this was the off season I cannot imagine how they’re overcharging in the summer months. Don’t charge luxury prices if you don’t intend to deliver.

We enjoy the dock (although it is now shared with the renters next door) and the screened-in porch. It’s on a quiet street. The living room/kitchen open area is great for families.

We absolutely loved your house. It was spacious and beautiful. The view from upstairs and especially the screened porch was absolutely astonishing! Bathrooms in each bedroom was very convenient. We had three small children with us and we forgot our baby gate, but thank goodness we found one in the closet, it kept them all safe from falling down the steps. The dock was another plus! My husband fished everyday, he caught a shark, 3 sting rays and we even set up a crab trap and caught some crabs. The kids enjoyed seeing all the creatures. Thanks for letting us enjoy your beautiful home, we hope to stay again sometime in the near future!

We enjoyed the dock for crabbing and many decks. The secluded feel and private shared drive made it feel as though you where total separated from the rest of the island. The property management staff where very helpful. We had an issue with the rented lines and they gave a us a partial refund for the missing items. I would highly recommend this house! Coming back again sometime soon!!!

Gorgeous winter getaway

Loved the set up of this house-- plenty of privacy when needed and also a wonderful communal space to enjoy the company and scenery. Super close drive to the beach as well.
