Not sure if its all rooms, but the one i was in had a shelf that butts right up against the foot of the bed. As a taller guy, i kicked the heck out of my toes on that thing all night. Also the tile in the toilet/shower area is smooth and really slippery when its wet. Could probably use a stick-down mat or one of those spray-on treatments to make it anti-slip.

Breakfree is a great option for anyone travelling to Christchurch. The location is perfect in the city centre, Riverside and other restaurants and cafes are all within walking distance.

Wonderful stay! Lovely staff, the man at the cafe had the best custoner service last night really nice food. Very welcoming lady at service desk. Room was great nuce and quiet bed was so comfy!

From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by warm and friendly staff—nothing was ever too much trouble. The room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic, within walking distance to all my favourite shopping spots, the Christchurch Bus Interchange, and the Riverside Market. I would definitely stay at BreakFree on Cashel again and highly recommend it to my family and friends.
