We checked in for the night and needed to change our booking to a room on the ground floor as my mom would find it difficult hot to climb and the reception was kind enough to accommodate us . We also ordered room service and the food was hot and delicious when it came . Would highly recommend the hotel to travelers !

Solid stop over hotel in Christcurch for your road trip. We actually stayed four nights while we drove out into the surrounding areas to go sightseeing. Our room had a jet tub and great working AC. The daily housekeepers were great. They even washed out dishes for us and we honestly felt bad about it. We had a bit of an issue one night with some very noisy guests partying in the cottages behind us. We called the front desk and they said they'd go to talk to them but they never did quiet down. Thankfully we popped the earplugs in and were able to get to sleep. Solid place. We'd stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay. The staff were friendly helpful. The room service was excellent. I'm quite fast. Was a bit noisy as it was a sports group staying there. I would have thought the staff would have asked them could be a bit quieter, but overall, very happy with the stay
