We stayed for one night.
The property was very sad, run down, minimally cared for.
Empty dirty pools. Our room was pretty shabby, but had a bed, functioning shower, and a door that locked. Would definitely not stay there again. But i talked to another couple that thought it was OK for their needs, so i guess everyone is different. It must have been a beautiful place "back in the day" when it was maintained.

The air conditioning did not work for the first two nights. The first night the room was very hot.
It is obvious that there is very little being done to properly maintain the property.

We have been going to St. Croix and Hotel on the Cay for years. The steady decline in the property is very sad. But the staff is WONDERFUL!
From Kathy, the manager to Sarah and Joan- the housekeepers and Jose…they are warm and welcoming.
Hopefully with the new buyer things will improve.

This private island is peaceful and relaxing. All of the staff and I mean the entire staff was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Very friendly locals great music and food. My husband enjoyed his bday getaway. We will be returning next year. - The Heholt’s
