Lately I've been a frequent guest at this hotel. My partner and I have been staying here at least once a month over the last year. The location is ideal, being that I live in the area and the price is on point. The surrounding area is decent and has a little bit of everything for everyone. From dining, to shopping, to public transportation, etc. Being so close to the freeway has its pros and cons. The property itself is nice. For an older property, it has some nice updates that make it feel more modern and up to date without breaking the bank and having the cost of those upgrades being passed onto the guest. I love that parking is free, regardless how many vehicles you have and checking in and out is simple. Of all the stays I've had here, I've only ever had one issue, and that was that our phone in our room didn't work, which made checking out a little less ideal. There's no way to check out via the TV and because the phone was out of order, I was forced to stand in line at front desk, with 5 other people in front of me, and only 1 front desk agent. Again, it was a one time thing and it's no biggie. It didn't affect anything aside from departing. All in all, Hotel Palmeras has become one of my favorite hotels to stay at due to price, location, and value. I'd recommend this hotel to others who want a decent, affordable hotel without breaking the bank.
