Good place to stay to enjoy the city and sites.

Nice place and good welcoming staff. Room was in good order, comfortable bed, good, clean shower with a few amenities. Staff treated us with respect and a good attitude. Hotel is about 15 min from train and an easy walk.

The hotel reception is on the first floor, there are a lot of stairs from the street to the reception to carry heavy suitcases, tjough there is a lift from reception to the bedrooms. The hotel was undergoing renovation & the public areas were quite dated. That said the bedroom was newly renovated in a minimalist style, quite large & nicely done. Great shower. Breakfast was a reasonable spread with good coffee. No air-conditioning but that is normal in these places as it is not often of benefit. Unfortunately it was 30c while we were there & the room was rather hot, though a fan was provided & it cooled down during the night.

Great hotel!

Great stay! The two rooms we had with on suite baths looked recently renovated. The beds were very comfortable. It was clean and with the windows closed we couldn’t hear any outside noise during the morning hours. No AC, but that wasn’t a problem's as the temperatures go down during the evenings.

The property felt grubby until you reached the room. Even then it did'nt feel that great but cleaner than the rest of the building. Location was good and staff were friendly. Felt the room was over priced and glad we only stayed the one night. Breakfast was expensive too and did'nt look that great. We went out for breakfast.

Well located property with good breakfast. Short walk for station (Bernina Express) and good food options locally. No Air Con and limited windows (as neighbour’s balcony is nearby) so room is unbearably hot when the heat wave occurs. Very clean and comfortable bed.

Property was located in the center of Chur. Room was clean and everything was very comfortable. The only drawback and only for those with ambulatory issues is that the only way into the hotel are three flights of stairs.

Wonderful Stay in Old Town Chur

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Drei Könige! The receptionist was incredibly helpful and kind — she even provided us with a parking pass for the nearby free overnight parking, which made things so much easier. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the location is perfect — just a short walk to all the charming shops and restaurants that Chur has to offer. One thing to note: guests will need to use stairs to reach the reception area, which might be good to keep in mind when arriving with luggage. Overall, a wonderful experience and we’d definitely stay here again!

Hotel was lovely. Walk with luggage to hotel was manageable—especially due to large pedestrian walkway from railroad station. Breakfast was delicious and hotel staff very kind and considerate. / The only “heads up” would be there are lots of steps (maybe 20) to get to the reception area and no one to assist. We were lucky to get assistance from another guest. Hotel DOES have elevator to get to guest rooms but not at entrance. We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant—which was nice. Across the street is a Michelin Star restaurant — excellent!! Splurge!! Well worth it. Ask hotel front desk for discount for Chur Brambrüesch (aerial cableway). It was a beautiful excursion. At the top, we stopped at a little family-run hotel/restaurant for beer/wine and food. Don’t be intimidated by the mountain bikes and professional hikers, there is a nice flat pathway in which you can enjoy without being too overwhelming. The views are amazing!! Chur is a quaint town. We stayed for 3 nights prior to taking the Glacier Express to Zermatt. // As for GE, if you don’t want to order overpriced food on GE, pick up your own lunch at a local shop in Chur!! We stopped at a small store in train station (left side as you go down escalator) - ZANETTI. Perfect!! They were incredibly kind and sandwiches were delicious. On GE we ordered wine and ate our packed sandwiches. We noticed many others had packed their own food. Chur was a delightful town with lots to see, good restaurants and shopping!
