Facility not very well maintained

Very disappointed in the condition of facility including no hot water in many rooms.The first morning the desk clerk showed no interest in helping simply saying “ maintenance doesn’t come in until 8:00” that evening a different desk clerk was very helpful but had to spend time going to various rooms to finally find one that had the required handicap shower and functioning hot water that we had to move to that evening. The hand held shower was missing the mount that held it to the wall so you had to hold it the entire shower. The handicap grab bar near the toilet was almost ripped out of the wall and could not be used for support. Additional issues include no heat in 4th floor hallway, garbage bags laying right outside side entry door and the exercise room was never stocked with towels or wet wipes the entire week I was there. The bagels on the breakfast bar were extremely stale. The only real positives were the cleaning crew did an excellent job cleaning my room and the evening desk clerk was extremely helpful in finding a room with hot water and followed up the next evening to make sure everything was okay with the new room. The manager compensated me for the hot water problem but I’d rather not have the hassle of having to change rooms etc.

I got to the hotel at 14:00 and she told me I couldn't check in till 15:00 unless I was an ING Member. Well, I happen to be, which shut her up. I stayed in hotels the last 2 weeks straight and this was a 1st ever. Not impressed.

This is the second time I have stayed at an Avid Hotel. We believe we found a great option for long road trips and late night stays. Each one has been super clean, the staff incredible friendly, rooms are clean, and the bed was great. Avid - you won us over!

Well I was highly disappointed that they didn’t have a pool. I went to the one in Tennessee and they had a pool so I didn’t check to see if this one did. I will never go back. Same price as Tennessee but no pool.

It was nice! But Im picky and petty lol

I was a very nice room over all. Very nice 24/7 access gym! The shower had liquid soaps, shampoo and conditioner mounted! Very convenient I usually get handicap access shower for comfort but it just had a built in seat and not a smooth transition I’ve had in other nice hotels. The bed was very comfortable The tv turned on once an hour all night long, kept us up, we addressed it up front and they “didn’t know it was still doing that” There was duct tape by some spots on the window frames, I grew up like that so I felt broke again lol. I know its petty of me to mention.. but they don’t use slow close toilet seats.. so beware before you put it back down, it’ll scare the crap out of you and everyone else on the same floor.. It was my first time staying on a ground level room. If you don’t like that, request a floor or so up.
