There's a restaurant on site. You can enjoy a drink at the bar/lounge. Public spaces have free WiFi. A terrace, multilingual staff, and tour/ticket assistance are also featured at Azul Hotel & Restaurante. Self parking is free.
This 3-star Ciudad del Carmen hotel is smoke free.
There are only two good things about this hotel. Playa Norte and Malecon are just across the street. The rooms are so unpleasant with nonexistent WIFI and rarely warm water. Also, there is a bar just across the street that plays the loudest music until 3 AM. We regretted we booked and paid for 4 nights at this hotel. Was not possible to sleep. The owner could have done something about that.
Maybe talking to the bar people and asking them to turn the music down. I would not recommend this hotel to the worst enemy.
The hotel is NOT dog friendly at all. When we arrived the guy told us that he doesnât accept dogs but because he had close to nobody in the hotel he agreed to let us stay the night. He charged us extra (which is fine) but asked us to keep our dog in a cage - which is NOT ok for a supposedly dog friendly hotel and NOT ok when we pay extra for our dogs (which we happily do as we ALWAYS travel with our dogs)
He gave us a room close to the septic tank, where the shower was not working (water was cold, and when it was finally warm (never hot), the pressure was ridiculous)
The bed are so hard it feels like you are sleeping on the floor, he made a big deal about our dogs but the beds were full of sand.
The hotel is across the beach but also across the bars so you can hear the music until 3am - didnât really bother us but good to know if you are looking for quiet. The TV is also not working - again we didnât care about this, but if you are hoping to relax with some TV forget it.
We really didnât like the fact that the guy keep telling us that he didnât like our dogs and told us what to do with them each time we crossed his path.
The staff is the unfriendliest ever and thatâs all we do : travelling
This was really a bad experience
Points forts : Service et personnel, confort de la chambre
really charming owner and great Indian food
this is an older hotel in a good spot with view of malecon and ocean on horizon, as shown in thumbnail picture. Room is small but adequate for an overnight. staff are very nice and friendly. the star of the show is the restaurant. against all odds, we had probably the best chicken masala anywhere and the lamb kabobs were heavenly. the very nice chef also fixed us an indian breakfast, fab roti and a chicken potato curried thing, very tasty and filling. the owner was friendly and has great plans for the neighborhood. in all a surprisingly great stop
