The room was alright, but the staff were very minimal, with receptionist disappearing for hours at a time. I tried to call down three times on the phone, plus actually physically went downstairs but nobody was there, around 8:30pm.
There is no bar and no parking. These are remnants from many years ago, and nobody has told hotels.com. The guy who checked me in told me it wasn't paid and tried to make me pay again and so I had to wait a long time for him to let us in the room, although I paid in advance on hotels.com. It's really NOT a 4-star hotel, nomidea what the stars are for.
The hotel is run down and very dated. Carpet in the room was rough. 1970âs hair dryer was a surprise. Room was extremely small. The location was great. Hotel sits 500 steps from Plaza Mayor. Reception was great and provided multiple recommendations for restaurants and things to do. For the price it was good, but nowhere close to 4 stars.
