Great holiday at Villaflora

We have just returned from a 3 generational holiday at Villaflora. The villa is spacious and comfortable with an exceptional outside space. The garden, pools, dining/seating and BBQ areas were incredible and well used during our stay. We loved having breakfast at the front looking at the morning ferries and lunch or dinner by the pool. The villa is within walking distance of supermarkets, restaurants and beaches. Cala en Brut is very pretty and great for cliff jumping (no sand) and Cala n Blanes is a lovely sandy cove which was perfect for our 19 month old granddaughter. Nearby Ciutadella city is beautiful and well worth a visit. Jaime is an ideal host - always contactable, helpful and accommodating. He responds quickly to any queries and gives advice on the best stocked supermarkets, restaurants etc. We had one very windy and wet night during our stay and he even sent someone round to clear up the debris from the trees and plants and clean the pools. We are sorry that our stay was only one week!

Fabulous Family Holiday

We were a party of 12 ranging from a three year old to 68 ! And we were all catered for with great facilities and location for all - although we chose to stay and enjoy the pools and surroundings most days with any lunches around the pool and family meals in the evening. Jaime wa s a perfect host and Miriam helped us to settle in too. I would recommend this to all for a perfect holiday for all ages and thank you Jaime again for such a memorable family holiday stay.

Marvellous Menorca

We stayed at Jaime’s place for a week and he could not have been more accommodating from the get go. Excellent communication, responsive and clear, with good local recommendations and flexible with check in and out - essential when you have young kids. Villa is fantastic, plenty of space for 6 adults and 5 kids aged 2 to 8. The pool space and wrap around garden is just the best for lazy days, with a great little bbq kitchen too. Coves and beaches close by with great snorkelling. Plenty of decent restaurants a ten minute walk away and Ciutadella is easy to access with car or bus (we used it and it’s easy and cheap). Nothing negative to say except maybe a floor plan wouldn’t go amiss to understand the layout before arrival. Muy bien, we loved it - highly recommended.

Loved our stay with family at Villa Flora. The villa is beautiful and the outside area all you could ask for. Perfect location being a short walk from some lovely restaurants and the most beautiful coves you could imagine. Jaime was on hand both before our stay for anything we might need. Fabulous villa

We had a fantastic week at the villa. Jaime was a very attentive host and answered lots of questions and requests even before we booked as we had a 4 month, 1, 2 and 4 year old in our family party. 3 cots and 2 highchairs were requested and Jaime also provided an inflatable baby bath which was so useful. As others have said the pool area is fabulous and we spent lots of time there but used the front area for breakfast and evening drinks taking in the sea views. The kitchen is equipped with an abundance of good quality pots, pans, sharp knives and lovely dishes to serve food. As matriarch, i had the turreted bedroom upstairs so had a great escape when necessary and enjoyed the views! We had a bit of storm damage one night and Jaime had his maintenance team around very quickly to sort it out. Thank you Jaime for being a perfect host. Sheelagh

Amazing villa baked in glorious Menorcan sunshine

I guess it's hard to capture the spirit of a venue in images, but the pictures of this villa in the listing don't really do it justice. It is in fantastic condition throughout, but the outside space really is the jewel in the crown. The garden is flooded with sunshine throughout the day until late afternoon when the palm trees start to offer a little shade over the pool area. But there are sofas and chairs / tables under cover if you want a break from the sun before then. The pool itself is a good length (about 15 metres) and, whilst it has a small shallow end, is plenty deep enough for adults to dive into properly. We struggled to reach the bottom of the pool at all at first! There is also a little matching kiddie pool for the little ones. Aircon in the bedrooms is rationed to night-time to conserve energy (apart from the seperated tower bedroom and "grotto" bedroom just off the utility room, which had aircon 24 hours), but makes sleeping a cool and comfortable experience too. The mattresses were all plenty comfy too - I'd guess memory foam. Bathroom facilities all to a good standard too. Honestly, we really didn't have anything to grumble about at all. The garage parking space that was included wasn't really big enough to get a van into (low roof and we had a big 9-seater thing), but there was plenty of free on-street parking right outside regardless. And out front of the villa there was a further dining area that overlooked the shoreline. A great place. We will be back!

Sublime experience

This property had everything we wanted for a beautiful break. The property was really spacious inside and out and was in such a beautiful position, with wonderful views of the sea. Yet the pools at the rear of the property were very private with an excellent outdoor kitchen for barbecues and a wonderful outside dining area. All of this housed in mature gardens which were pristine. We were a large family with friends and the children absolutely enjoyed this 2 week break. The island was so easy to drive around with so many beautiful spots to see. To top it off, Jaime was sucb an attentive host. Any questions were answered very speedily and when we did run out of gas, one of his team was there within the hour to rectify. All in all, an amazing holiday and great value for money.

The most wonderful week in Menorca

Our group of 11 ( 6 adults, 5 children) had a fantastic week here, the outdoor space would be hard to beat elsewhere, ample space for dining, sitting, lounging throughout the day. Indoors is surprisingly spacious, although not reflecting the modern exterior we could not fault the accommodation and the amenities on offer, the kitchen is fantastically equipped for all your needs. Our host was very attentive and keen for us to be as well looked after as possible. The location was super for our needs with young children, a short walk to the local shops, restaurants & coves for swimming. 10-15 minutes into Cituadella by car. We would definitely consider returning we had a wonderful time.

The problem is that if I tell you how wonderful the family holiday was in Villaflora I will have trouble finding a vacant period to go again. The house, grounds staff and owner are keen that you enjoy your break. All in all a great place to relax an unwind with friends and family

Amazing villa

The most special part of this really big villa is the outside space and huge pool.The grandaughters spent literally hours in there.The covered eating area is nothing short of fabulous.The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean.A further seating area at the front of the villa has lovely breezes from the sea which is a few strides across the quiet road and stunning to look at.We had a few small issues which were quickly sorted and communication with Jamie was faultless.!0 minutes walk gets you to the centre with shops restaurants and a small but fun waterpark.I have dropped 1 star only due to there not being a tumble dryer or kettle as listed.We boiled pans of water for tea for 12 at breakfast..us brits love our tea..A lovely drying area behind the outdoor kitchen provides plentiful drying space.2 indoor kitchens and more crockery and cooking equipment than we have ever seen made self catering simple.Ample parking outside the villa for our 2 cars and never a problem to find a space.Would we return...yes 100%.Thank you Jamie and all the hard working and friendly maintenance and cleaning staff we met.Best wishes from Lesley and family.

Two Weeks in Paradise

Travelling to Spain in the midst of all the Covid grief was never going to be plain sailing and none of us believed we would actually get to Menorca until we were on the easyJet flight but the holiday was worth every moment of the angst. The villa is the nicest we have ever stayed in after decades of travel- the pool area was sublime and all of the bedrooms were decent with our room on the first floor being particularly lovely. The villa is brilliantly situated near to local shops and restaurants but mostly because it is only ten minutes drive or an hours walk from Ciutedella - one of the nicest Towns we have been to. To cap it all Jaime, the owner was the host from heaven- nothing was too much trouble and he dealt with any minor problem after than you could say ‘what’s the better supermarket Lidl or Eroski?’ We we’re there with a family and friends of ten people and we all simply loved it. We could not recommend it more highly.

Perfect home for family holiday

This villa proved to be a fantastic place to spend time with the family. The pool and outdoor facilities are excellent and by far the best in the area. Also you are close to a lovely sea cove with diving platforms which proved great fun for the adults. The accommodation is homely and maybe just a bit tired. However, there is everything you need. One double room, the only one on the first floor requires you to use a an outdoor staircase so is best suited to adults. The manager provides excellent contact and support, ensuring that any queries are dealt with promptly Near to the villa are small supermarkets with a Lidl only 10 minutes away by car. The old town of Ciutadella and it’s port makes for an excellent day out, a gain only 10 minutes away.
