Do not stay here. It’s really gone down hill in the last 10 years. We often travel from Canada to Texas and have stayed here a few times. This place used to be good. I cannot express how dirty this place is. The halls have never been vacuumed, the floors inside the room are not swept, the tub was disgusting, super run down facility. Rust in the bathroom, tap broken, shower is from 1984, smelled horrible. Nothing nice to say. Sleep in your car!

First the room was filthy with feces all over the toliet and side of the shower. Then I get called well after check in at 1030 pm by front desk asking if we would be checking in that night.

Staff at check in was not super friendly. The breakfast was limited as it was waffles and cereal. No place to sit so needed to take it back to your room. But the price for the room was good for what we needed.

Probably the worst Super 8 I've stay in and I've stayed in dozens. Room was dirty with dog hair everywhere....looks like it was never cleaned beyond changing the sheets. Breakfast was available but there was no area in which to eat it...you had to take it back to your room. In addition, the breakfast was very limited....waffles, 2 cereals, juice, milk, and NOTHING else. Most Super 8's have a lot more to choose from.

Theres no one on staff between 2am-2pm. The breakfast is blah and no one is available to refill the juice & milk. The cereal was stale, we had a dirty towel hanging with the clean ones. If your just needing a place to lay your head, this is the place. Dont expect too much.

We got checked into our room when we arrived- the lady at the front desk was very nice. However, when we got to our room, and I went to pull the sheets back, they appeared to be covered in dog hair, like the sheets didnt get changed between guests. Major ew, but mistakes happen. I asked for a new room, because the sheets were not changed, and was given a different room without issue. Yet again, the sheets had definitely not been changed. After the previous room, the first thing I did was check the bed, and near the foot of the bed, between the “clean sheets” were hairs, a few small grass clippings and like, miscellaneous grime I guess? The room also smelled like someone smoked in it, but that may not be the hotels fault- I know thats a difficult smell to remove. I mentioned that after two rooms like this, I may want to just move on to somewhere else, and before I could even ask I was told I wouldnt be getting any money back. A bit frustrating, but not an argument I was willing to have after a ten hour drive. I was offered a third room to try or fresh sheets right then and there- I opted for the sheets. Like I said, the lady at the front desk was nice, but I feel like a refund should at least be considered when a guest is given two rooms with unchanged sheets
 Overall, not happy and definitely won’t be coming back here.

My room was clean and it was very quiet at night. I slept great. Two things did bother me: 1) the side door right next to my room did not require a room key, so anyone could walk in off the street and be in the hallway 2) there wasn’t a front desk worker the next morning. I walked out and forgot my key and no one was around. I had to call a number and wait for someone to come let me in. I really did have a good stay and slept comfortable and was happy, but those two concerns were a lot.

If you need a place to sleep for 5-6 hours, it’s okay. I would not stay for more than one night. Pictures online are extremely outdated!

The town was desolate and a true ghost town. So many buildings shuttered up and falling down - left to rot. Not much left. Whoever lives there must not be able to afford to get out of there - sad. The front desk girl was nice enough. The breakfast area was basically in the main lobby - no chairs to sit and eat. Had to bring food back to room. When we got there late afternoon, there was still cereal spilled out under the cereal dispenser from that morning? Floors in the room were sticky so I did not walk around without shoes. Wiped up a water spill on floor and lots of dirt came up with it. The bathroom had hair and dust bunnies in the corners as did the areas behind the night stand. A decent vacuum hose and swiffer mop would go a long way. Beds were comfortable although I wondered if they were as "clean" as the floors were. No sign of bed bugs. Pillows were very soft and comfortable as was the bottom sheet. Top sheet was kind of stiff. The door to the outside was just outside our room and slightly ajar. Not sure it could be closed all the way. Strange thing I noticed - a latch lock was installed on the OUTSIDE of that door. Not good if someone locked it and there was a fire??!! We had a gun so I felt safer than not having one:) Taco place next door was open so that was good there was a place to eat - we had already eaten, so I cannot attest to the food quality. Breakfast was limited, but at least it was something and they had the waffle maker working.
