Great place to stay

We had a great time. The rental had everything we needed for a fun girls trip. Just bring your clothes and food; they have everything else. Communication with the owners was great. They were able to answer our questions in a timely manner. I would recommend this vacation rental and we might try to make this an annual event.

Great place to stay in a quiet neighborhood. Within 15 minutes of anything we wanted to do. Kids enjoyed the loft and futons. Spacious kitchen. Big deck is great also.

Family reunion

Had a great stay here for a family reunion. Short drive to Long Beach. House was cute, clean and perfect for our group. House was equipped with everything we needed! Communication with owners was great. And we really enjoyed our stay.

Weekend getaway

We needed a conveniently located property for our family reunion in Clear Lake. This cottage was the perfect location with easy access to the lake itself in a cute neighborhood. Very quiet and relaxing. Perfect space for three adults. Easy walking distance to PM Park.

We spent a long weekend here, really cute little bungalow, cozy loft the kids all loved. Cabin is located in an association and the houses are very close together, no yard, and the beach is about a 2 block walk, so no lake views, and not located on the south shore. That was a bit deceiving from the listing, and disappointing with small children.

Cozy summer cottage

This cottage was perfect for my son and daughter-in-law and their young daughters. It is bright, clean, well appointed and a very short distance from the family cottage. So much information was shared about the cottage and Clear Lake that was all very helpful. Would love to rent this place again!

Can’t beat this location

This bungalow was perfect for our 3 toddlers and mother in-law with us. Home was exceptionally clean, great location, and the amenities can’t be beat (beach, kids playground, water trampoline and Maui mat all part of the area. Owners were very easy and great to communicate with.

Home Sweet Home Away

This house was so adorable. Cozy and comfortable with lots of extra touches. Cozy blankets, plump pillows and lots of fresh towels. The kitchen was organized beautifully with everything we needed and in very convenient logical placement. We love to cook and the bar stools at the counter made for a party like atmosphere as we cooked and listened to music and enjoyed being together. The deck and outdoor furniture were beautiful. The boys loved watching TV from their loft and my daughter loved having her own room. Our day trips into town were unexpectedly historical and great social distancing activities going out to the sad site of the plane crash and the beautiful gardens. So sad we missed the Firehouse Museum they closed for the season last week. But weather permittted an outdoor happy hour at Sharky’s and walk on the beach. The Surf Ballroom was so cool and the triple record was just special. All in all we felt comfortable and all expectations for the house were exceeded. Owner was responsive and kind. We would highly recommend and consider returning should we ever have reason to be back in Clear Lake!

Cute little lake house

Overall a nice place to stay...a/c and heat work fine and there is plenty of hot water.. as on older adult I could not have made it up the loft ladder and didn’t but that room was for the kids..they did remark it gets warm up there.. Maybe some tightening on the bunk beds as there were lots of squeaks on each bed when turning over in bed.. other bed is quite comfortable.. Placement of the key box was very hard for me...my husband finally got it open..I would have preferred at eye level...we all are not young and flexible... Those were just minor annoyances overall b/c we did enjoy our time there and sight seeing...the town although small was a nice visit.. Most of all Owner was very kind and patient on our arrival as we had questions etc.. he was very accommodating..

Comfy and clean cottage with great location

We had a great time and didn't want to leave! Our group of six (five adults) fit very comfortably and it was so homey. The area is very walkable/bikeable, one block from the water, a playground and sand volleyball court, and could walk to Tiki bar and boat rental in five minutes. There are several properties grouped very close together, so the deck is right next to neighbors decks all around (so not private if that's what you are wanting), but everyone was so friendly it didn't matter to us. The only way to get to the loft is a steep ladder, but it is very secure and easy to maneuver. Stove isn't large enough to handle cooking big meals, but there was a large gas grill and lots of great restaurants within a short drive. Plenty of parking for multiple vehicles just across the access road. Would highly recommend and we'll be back!

Nice for the price

It was a guessing game finding the house as they never gave you an address. The checkout procedures were on a laminated card that you had to find later. Big problem was the kitchen sink backed up the entire time. WITH NO DISHWASHER. It was terrible doing dishes with a backed up sink. I let the owners know right away. They said they wokld send a plumber but never did.

Perfect girls trip getaway!

My sister and I stayed here with our kids for 4 nights & it was wonderful! The house itself is so cute and very nicely decorated. My kids LOVED the loft (they're 6 & 8). We spent the mornings having coffee on the deck and then later in the day we went down to the beach/docks (which is not right in front of the house & you can't see it from the house but it's just a very short walk away which we had no problems with). Our stay here was perfect and we look forward to staying again!
