Perfect for a one night stay didn’t notice when I booked it was shared shower and toilet , didn’t like that . Bed was very comfortable and clean and breakfast was good

F1 Clermont-Ferrand

The hotel was excellent value - i upgraded to the Cabrio for €5 which has ensuite bathroom. The room was clean and functional; the free wifi and parking were welcome benefits. Staff was helpful and pleasant. I would recommend this hotel.

Reception staff were friendly and some could speak spanish or english, which was very helpful. The room though, despite the covid cleaning procedures they mention, the floor hadn’t been cleaned before we checked in. The pillows were also very bad. Given the price of the hotel, I wasn’t too disappointed but could have done with a bit more cleaning and a better pillows.

Cheap... not really cheerful...

Not endearing arriving with someone seemingly drunk alseep on the chairs outside the hotel.. no toilet roll in the toilets, .... I appreciate it's functional, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't care... Wasn't there long, will not go back ..

Used hotels.com but on arrival at the service desk the reception person had no record of our booking. Had to pay again to the hotel. I will now have to apply for a refund from hotels.com.

You get what you pay for

Overall, not that bad. Friendly, helpful staff and it is clean. But shared bathroom, you have to make you own bed and still pay around 30 pounds is a bit hefty but cheapest in the region if you don't want to go into a hostel. Plus consider that it is on the outer fringe of Clermont. They have other options of rooms with private bathroom which are probably a much better option.

STAY WELL AWAY BE WARNED

Stay away we arrived lady on reception said we couldn't have room code and she would have to keep opening our door there's no toilet or shower in room just a hard bed dirty linen and dirty sink in corner of room we were very tired when we arrived after driving half way through France got 3 hours sleep and left to book else where doors banging couldn't open window in room was boiling hot I wouldn't let my animals sleep there let alone a human being and as we left reception lady was more bothered about drinking alcohol with the handy man would never ever stay In one of these hotels AGAIN

Could be better for the price.

A very noisy experience. Someone was in hallway and restroom cleaning it, showering or both at 3am for an hour. Then shortly after a guy is heard vomiting in the restroom. In the room nextdoor you could hear someone peeing in the garbage bucket at 4am. At 9 am a kid across the hall thought running and screaming down the hall and in the room was appropriate to keep doing. While most nights before that were quiet, I was glad this night was my last as I booked a nicer hotel in the area, with bathrooms in the room. Pushing the shower button over and over to take a shower got old fast as did the board like matress.

Freindly staff, comfy relaxed place.

For the price, I was happy. I had a sink in the room and corner desk for computer. The in room heater didn't work but the staff gave me a portable heater immediately. The breakfast was nice and light and only 3,50. The bed had clean sheets and felt a bit hard but overall I was happy with the above bunk, lighting and overall experience. Nice vending machines and always empty restrooms just down the hall made for bathroom sharing not bad at all, even at night.

I wouldn't choose to stay here again. It's fine if you're on a minimal budget but very inconvenient to most places except the airport and I found the staff significantly less helpful than other places I've stayed in France including Hostels.
