This place is disgusting. I don't know how it has so many good reviews. There was dirt and grime everywhere, dead bugs in my bed and all sorts of issues. Absolutely disgusting.

Will look for another place next time.

In the past, we had hit or miss stays at the Baymont. This time was not very good at all. One bed was literally broken. There was always water leaking on the floor in the dining area. For two of our three days, there was not enough food for breakfast. The waffle batter was as runny as water. The carpets were extremely filthy this time. The air conditioning did work this time; it did not work last time we were there. It did appear that they were refurbishing some of the rooms in the back building, but they had not made it to the front building where we stayed this time. For the past few years there have been a couple very nice ladies working the front desk who remembered us from previous stays. They were no longer there. The TV and TV remote worked well and the shower had amazing pressure and plenty of hot water. It is in a very convenient location and the price was cheap, but we will be looking somewhere else next time we are in town.

Pictures are deceiving

HORRIBLE hotel. The pictures do not do justice to how bad it actually is. We opened the mini fridge door and the door fell off and hit the floor and my foot. My sister sat on the edge of her bed and the whole bed flipped up. There were weird looking food stains on the comforter. Hairs in the bedsheets like they didn’t get washed. Lots of mold in the bathroom. We had to go ask if the pool was safe to swim in because of how dirty it looked. There were dead bugs like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while, trash all over the ground, and the gate did not lock. We would NEVER recommend!!!

The room was dirty. There was prescription medication on the floor (2 pills), so it had not been vacuumed. There were bugs, (roach and crickets). The phone didn’t work, no remote for the TV. Air conditioner not working properly. The only positive thing was the clerk was nice and the bed was comfortable. I will not return.

Horrible room.

Room was filthy. Carpet, chair, etc are very old and stained. The door had apparently been kicked in at some point because the top lock was busted off and the door frame was broken off. I slid the disgusting chair in front of the door for safety. I didn’t check the room when I checked in because I had work to get to. When I got back and entered the room at 5:00 am I found the issues. When the sun came up you could see daylight all around the door.

You get what you pay for

The stay was ok. The room was adequately clean, but needs major updates. The first 2 nights were quiet. The last night was not so much. People in the parking lot yelling and laughing late at night. Car alarm went off and there was a fight by the pool. We were not given fresh towels. We would probably not stay here again when we are in town.

Don’t Do It!!!!! It’s a trap!

Arrived, checked in, room looked decent. Found out after paying that air was broken, pool was padlocked, staff sent me a text and then refused to answer phone or texts. Would not let us end our stay early. Could not find anyone on Saturday except one very tired old man cleaning rooms. Breakfast was laid out and untended until after 4:00pm on Saturday. Sunday check out they owed us 50.00 cash deposit and my partner had to go behind desk and wake dude up off of a cot after trying to get someone’s attention from the service window outside first and then later from the check in desk. I have only had one other hotel/motel stay experience that rates as bad as this one and it’s hat one involved a 3:00am hooker fight in the parking lot of a Days Inn. Baymont by Wyndham used to mean something decent, but the taste this has left in my mouth I don’t know will ever leave. All we wanted was a low key weekend with just a nice pool and a few decent restaurants and what we go was a really bad joke and a terrible staying experience. If you are going to advertise that there is a pool and show pictures as nice as we’re on the listing, then at least have the decency to post that they are closed, dirty, never going to be opened, etc., so that I can pick a different motel to put my faith and money in. And then came the lovely survey text about how we enjoyed our stay. Although it wasn’t worth the time I took to answer the message from them, I did tell them kindly to cram their motel up their ass!

This place had cockroaches all around the place and there were sewers gnats flying around the room as well as other bugs I’ve never seen. Spring tails I believe. It was so gross I left after 2 nights and paid for a best western. Avoid this location it needs to be closed. There also is a family that lived there who were also the cleaners and my room was entered while I was at work even with a do not disturb sign posted. To make it weirder there was a guy who I’m guessing was staying long term on the upstairs floor that would frequently be outside on the phone in nothing but his underwear. The owner of this place does not have much care either and it’s basically him running the entire place. Time for a close. I reported this place to the local health inspector as well. Please avoid this place.
