Nestled in the woods near Helen, GA, in Mountain Lakes Resort, on a 50 acre lake sets Boo Boo's Cabin. This is a unique loft bedroom, 1 bath cabin that sleeps up to 4 guests. This cabin has a queen bed in the loft with its own balcony to enjoy the morning Chattahootchie National Forest views and a pull out queen bed in the livingroom where you can step out the french doors to a huge screened in porch and watch the sunrise over Lake Qualatchee. This cabin is fully stocked giving you the conveniences of home while away. It comes with a Washer Dryer, a kitchen equipped with electric range, Fridge/ Freezer, microwave, and all the utensils you need for meal prepping after a day of shopping, hiking, or swimming. The full bath has a vanity and a shower tub combo perfect to soak those tired muscles after a long day.
Boo Boo's Cabin is your retreat for enjoying family, making memories, or just getting some much needed rest and relaxation while visiting the North GA Mountains!
Boo Boos Cabin is set in the exclusive gated RV resort community of Mountain Lakes, our cabin provides a superb getaway experience for all ages! Located just 5 miles from Helen, there's an abundance of activities to explore both in the resort and beyond. Whether you're seeking scenic hikes, local cuisine, or unique shopping, you'll find something to delight your senses.

As a guest of Mountain Lakes, a premier cabin and RV Resort, you will have access to a wide range of resort amenities, including indoor and outdoor pools, playgrounds, horseback rides in the National Forest, Clubhouse with a sitting room, TV, sauna, fitness room, pool table, puzzles, games, a 50-acre lake stocked with fish, paddle boats, beach, water slide, miniature golf, hiking trails, and waterfalls. Wi-Fi is available not only at the cabin but also at the Resort Lodge and Country Store.

An amenity pass is required for all guests by Mountain Lakes which should be purchased from the Clubhouse prior to your arrival. Adults are $8/day and children are $5/day. Please call the Clubhouse at the number that will be provided when you book to have your passes ready at the security gate.

The cabin was very comfortable and clean. The neighbors were friendly and the Host - Jamie was so kind and helpful. It was a wonderful trip and the resort is so nice. We went swimming, we hiked up to see the waterfall, and we got to see the beautiful horses. It's close to everything and the people are so nice and friendly.

Our family just stayed at Boo Boo’s Cabin in Cleveland, Georgia, and it was absolutely amazing. There is so much to do within about a 20-minute radius that our kids were constantly excited and busy.From exploring downtown Helen to visiting a drive-through safari, gold mining, mountain hiking, and gem hunting—there was truly an adventure around every corner. All of that was outside of Mountain Lakes, where Boo Boo’s Cabin is located.The property itself was fantastic. There’s a huge lake that is absolutely loaded with fish, and the host even provided fishing poles and tackle. The kids loved fishing every chance they got. There’s also a short hike to a beautiful waterfall, and the horseback riding nearby was a huge highlight for our family.Inside, the cabin was perfect. It was cozy and warm on the cold days and cooled down easily on the warmer days. Everything worked exactly as it should. The place was extremely clean, and we didn’t see a single bug or critter during our stay.One of our favorite spots was the fully screened back porch with beautiful views overlooking the lake. It was the perfect place to relax in the morning or unwind in the evening.The clubhouse also kept the kids entertained, which was great since we experienced both cold days and warm days during our visit. No matter what the weather was like, there was always something fun to do.This was a fantastic family trip, and Boo Boo’s Cabin made it even better. We’re already looking forward to coming back

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The cabin was perfect. Clean. New. Cozy. Cute. Everything you could want in a place! Had everything we needed!!!!! The location was excellent. We decided to take a last minute trip to Helen. We did the cabbage patch hospital, downtown Helen, zip lining, shopping. It was close to it all! We ate at some great places!! All within minutes from the cabin! Lastly, can’t leave without talking about the host!!!! Great communication and such a kind heart!!!!!!! We def hope to be back some day!!!!!

Jamie was so friendly and helpful. The cabin was amazing and the whole resort was so quiet. There were neighbors all around but it was so quiet. We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was the perfect mix of cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed to feel right at home. The space was clean, well-kept, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made it easy to relax and enjoy our time together as a family.What stood out the most was how helpful and accommodating the host was. Nice cabin stay

We booked this cabin for 4 days for a family vacation. The cabin itself was very nice, clean and roomy. The resort was quiet and it has many amenities although we only took advantage of the horseback riding.The only thing that was a bit surprising was the proximity to the other lots, it wasn’t very clear in the pictures. But over all it was a lovely stay and we would consider staying again if we were in the area.

Granddaughters trip

I stayed two nights with my granddaughters in this nice cabin. It was a quick trip, but we had fun spent a lot of time in the main pool. Everything was very clean and neat and the neighbor was especially nice. She gave my granddaughters some food for the geese which they loved feeding!

Best Cabin Ever

This was the best cabin vacation I have ever had. Jamie was an amazing host. Very friendly, accommodating, and wonderful about communicating and giving lots of tips and information about the area. The cabin itself is beautiful but the fact that it’s located perfectly was the best part. The resort itself is so much fun and can literally be a vacation in and of itself, but it’s also very close to so many other super fun places that just made this the dream trip for us. Definitely recommend this location to anyone because it’s the perfect mix of cozy camping feel with all the niceties of feeling at home.

Cabin was beautiful! Despite being in a resort area it was really quiet. Overlooking the lake was an added bonus! Loved the cabin and being in mountains! Jamie was great and communication was great with her!

Not what we expected

When we were searching for cabins, we had one requirement: a hot tub. The listing had mentioned a hot tub, but there was actually not one in the cabin (only a shared one in the complex). Turns out the cabin is inside an RV community with all the RVs/Cabins very close together. So much so that when looking out the windows and deck you see other cabins - plus a street light that shines directly in the main picture window (without any way to block it out)There were also dead roaches scattered on the floor. Some baby roaches even wound up in my partner's drink!No soap in the bathroom. The door to the bathroom was not really a door.The last morning we were there the pipes froze so we didn't have water.The cabin did have a very nice kitchen. And the owner Jamie was very responsive.This wasn't quite the romantic getaway we pictured.
