Nestled in the heart of the North Georgia mountains and perched high atop scenic Yonah Mountain, Cloud 9 Cabin is your perfect escape, just 3 miles from downtown Helen and minutes from award-winning wineries, stunning hiking trails, and Tubing and Kayaking on the Chattahoochee River. This unique mountain retreat includes two cozy cabins connected by a spacious deck, offering an ideal setup for families or groups seeking comfort, privacy, and adventure.
The Space
Cloud 9 features a main cabin with 2 bedrooms, living room, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and a separate small rustic guest cabin — perfect for kids, teens, or another couple giving others their privacy in the main cabin. The guest cabin includes a queen bed, living room, kitchenette, and private bathroom, pool table. When you book Cloud 9, you get the entire property, making it an ideal base for your North Georgia getaway, for the whole family.
Outdoor Adventure & Nature Access
Located just a short hike from the Yonah Mountain trailhead (accessible via our private access directly from Cloud 9), our cabin is a must-stay for hikers and nature lovers and those seeking adventure in the Helen area. Surrounded by the lush greenery of Smithgall Woods and Chattahoochee National Park, you`re only 7 minutes to the Chattahoochee River.

Cloud 9 Rental Agreement & House Rules
Cloud 9 is located at 22 Soaring Hawk Trail, Cleveland, Georgia, approximately 3 miles from Helen, near Sautee Nacoochee Indian Mound in the Historic Nacoochee Valley.
1. Check-In / Check-Out
Check-in: After 3:00 PM EST
Check-out: 11:00 AM EST
No early check-ins or late check-outs permitted
2. No Smoking / No Vaping
This is a strictly non-smoking and non-vaping cabin.
Smoking is permitted outside only.
If smoke odor is detected inside after departure, the security deposit will be forfeited and additional cleaning charges may apply.
3. Pet Policy (Dogs Only – No Cats, sorry)
Prior approval required
$75 per pet fee
Requirements:
Pets must be treated with flea/tick prevention (e.g., Advantage) at least 3 days prior to arrival.
Pets are not allowed on furniture.
If your dogs fret or bark continually when left alone, they must be taken with you when you leave the cabin.
Pet owners are responsible for all waste cleanup.
Evidence of fleas/ticks or damage may result in additional charges beyond the pet fee.
Owners assume no liability for pet or human illness/injury while on premises.
4. Age Requirement
We do not rent to vacationing students or singles under 21 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
5. Damage Deposit may be required.
$200 refundable damage deposit
Secured on credit card (only charged if damage occurs)
6. Payment Terms
Full payment due 30 days prior to arrival
Reservation may be secured with deposit and paid in installments
7. Cancellations
30-day notice required for full refund
No refund for early departure
Monthly Rentals
90-day cancellation notice required
Changes shortening stay must be made 90 days prior
8. Maximum Occupancy
Maximum occupancy: 8 guests
Cabin Sleeps 6 comfortably in 3 bedrooms
2 additional guests may use sleeper sofa or rollaway beds (suggested for small children.
Rates are based on 4 guests.
Additional guests over 4: $25 per person per night
Only registered guests are permitted on the property or mountain community.
This property requires:
2-night minimum
3–4 nights during peak/holiday periods
Holiday rates may apply.
9. Parking
Maximum 4–5 vehicles
Must park in driveway only
No roadside parking under any circumstances
Vehicles blocking roadway are subject to towing
These are narrow mountain roads. Emergency access must be maintained.
Please drive slowly on the mountain, 15 mph. Vehicles coming up the mountain have the right of way. If a vehicle is encountered coming up the mountain, please pull over as a courtesy.
10. Housekeeping
No daily maid service
Linens and bath towels provided
Soap and Shampoo are provided
A starter paper towel is provided in kitchen
No firepit matches/lighters provided, for safety reasons.
Additional housekeeping available upon request (fee applies)
11. Hot Tub Rules
No children under 12
Use at your own risk
Do NOT stand or jump on cover (replacement cost $600)
Replace cover after use
Set temperature to 75° upon departure
Hot tub is sanitized and refilled before each stay.
12. Storm Policy / Road Conditions
No refunds due to:
Snow
Ice
Road conditions
4-wheel drive recommended in January/February (potential snow months).
Travel insurance is strongly recommended during winter months. Alternate dates may be offered at management discretion.
13. Fire Safety
Fully extinguish fire pit before leaving unattended
Do not run A/C while gas fireplace is operating
If cabin overheats, open windows instead of using A/C
Mountain conditions can be dry and fire-prone.
14. Garbage & Wildlife
Secure trash lids with provided bungee cords.
Wildlife will scatter unsecured trash.
Any excessive cleanup required will result in charges.
15. Blackstone Grill
Please clean after use as a courtesy to the next guests.
16. Noise & Community Rules
Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
No loud music outside at any time
Keep noise indoors and doors/windows closed
No parties
Registered guests only
This is a private mountain community.
17. Weddings & Events
If attending a wedding in the area, no additional guests are permitted at the cabin.
No event hosting allowed.
18. TV / Electronics
Do NOT unplug, move, or rewire any TV, Roku System.
Do not move remotes between rooms.
Replacement/service calls due to tampering will be charged to guest.
19. Liability Waiver
This cabin is privately owned.
Owners are not responsible for:
Accidents or injuries
Illness
Loss of personal belongings
By booking, guests assume all risks associated with use of the property.
20. Falsified Reservations
Any reservation obtained under false pretense will result in:
Forfeiture of payments
Immediate removal without refund
Undisclosed guests may result in additional charges.
A Few Final Notes
Use black makeup towels provided — do not use white bath towels for cosmetics. Please use the beige towels in the basket in the living room for the hot tub.
Do not throw trash into woods
Respect neighbors
Secure gates and trash lids
Parking limited due to mountain location
