Like other Tru hotels - very comfortable The area around it was not as safe - I had to get gas and homeless people approached me As a visitor, I didn’t know which area was safe and which were not

Great stay, only one issue

Staff were friendly and helpful. I would have given 5 stars, but when we arrived the room was really hot. We turned the air on and it wasn’t coming out cold, and the fan was flashing. I was looking, and noticed that the filter was in desperate need of being cleaned. I cleaned it, put it back and it started working just fine. That’s our only complaint, otherwise a great stay.

The sheets smelled, really bad, I had to sleep on my own shirt. The shower floor had dark stains. The staff was great, I got in late and was leaving early. I think they would have changed them if i asked but it was a quick trip, and clean sheets should be the norm, not something you need to ask for.

Friendly staff. Breakfast selection was ok. Bedding was clean. Bed frame was filthy with dirt, hair, and food. It was a platform bed. The mattress had stains in it. Floors were sticky.

The staff was very good and friendly and maintained property well. But our room had issues- water leaks on ceiling that were not active but painted over that looked like mold was growing. Also, the electric circuit kept cutting out atleast 3 to 4x and had to call the front desk to fix it.

Helpful Maintenance Manager

If you usually stay at the 3 star and above properties you will notice the difference in the quality and the service of the tru brand of hilton hotels. The property is in a good location there were security officers a few blocks away. However the amenities the gym breakfast and the rooms are at the economy hotel level. The maintenance tech was very helpful in replacing my cable remote and rebooting the electrical box in my room!

Depends on what room you get

Staff was exceptional. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. My a/c unit made a horrible noise that I reported day 1. My bed (King sized) was dipped in the middle and had to put pillows and blankets not to sink in. Lobby and common areas wete nice. My daughter also had a King room and hers was great!
