Moose Point Lookout has everything needed to make you feel at home in the perfect vacation destination, including custom designer décor with local art and murals!

- Kayaks, paddle board and life jackets are provided so you can enjoy the gorgeous waters of Lake Pokegama
- Have fun fishing right off the dock, or take advantage of the fantastic fishing opportunities throughout the 6,000+ acre lake
- Take a quick trip across the lake to hang out at Drumbeater and Nesbitt islands
- Access Itasca County’s vast snowmobile trail system directly from the house. There is plenty of room in our driveway for your trailer and it’s only a short ride across the lake to access the trails
- Two bedrooms plus our 4-season sunroom with a pullout sofa provide space for your entire group
- Two dedicated workspaces available along with high speed internet (1GB) for any remote working
- EV Charger available at the exterior of the garage: Tesla Universal Wall Connector with NACS and J1772 adapters.

The house, boathouse and all amenities are included so please make yourself feel at home! You will have easy access with a keypad for self check-in.

Note: Boathouse renovation is expected to be complete in Fall 2024.

Detached garage is not available for guest use.

I give my guests space but am available when needed.

Please let me know if there is anything that will make your stay better. It is my goal that this space be an escape and retreat for you however I am available at all times for emergencies and during standard hours to answer and resolve any non-emergency issues.

It is extremely helpful to have good contact information available for a member of your party in the event I need to contact you to resolve issues or provide information. If we need to stop by for any reason I will do my best to contact you ahead of time but we will keep any disruptions to an absolute minimum.

Home is located in a peaceful & quiet lake community.

Just 15 minutes from everywhere in Grand Rapids, a short drive will bring you to the best local brews at Rapids Brewing and Klockow Brewing Co, food and wine at award winning UnWined Up North and coffee shops like Brewed Awakenings as well as many local shops and much more!

- 10 minutes to bike, or snowshoe Tioga Mountain recreation trails
- Less than 20 minutes from the Mesabi bike and snowmobile trail system access at the Itasca County Fairgrounds
- Just over 15 minutes to the IRA Civic Center

Please plan to launch any personal motorized watercraft at one of the many public access locations on the lake. A list of those locations and GPS coordinates for the house will be provided prior to check-in. (Water at the end of the dock is about 3 feet deep)

We have weekly professional lawn service and snow removal as needed. They may be onsite for 1-2 hours during your stay. Dates and times vary depending on weather and demand.

Kayaks, paddle board, paddles, and life jackets are available for your use. Please take care and observe safety precautions during your use.

SEASONAL CANCELLATION POLICY IN PLACE:
SUMMER (May - August):
Cancel up to 30 days before check-in for a full refund
Cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, but after the 24-hour cancellation period & receive 50% refund
Cancel less than 14 days before check-in - no refund

WINTER (September - April):
Cancel up to 14 days before check-in for a full refund
Cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, but after the 24-hour cancellation period - receive 50%
Cancel less than 7 days before check-in - no refund

Please respect check-in and check-out times (unless we have agreed on other arrangements)
Any game or fish cleaning must be done outdoors, fish cleaning table is provided, please thoroughly clean up the table after each use - violations will result in a $200 penalty to cover additional cleaning costs

Please use the dryer to dry any wet beach towels and swimsuits, please do not leave wet items sitting on the floor.
Please be careful if moving any furniture so floors are not damaged
Moose Point Lookout is located in a peaceful & quiet lake community. All guests staying at the home must be considerate of others in the neighboring area. Noise disturbances will not be tolerated. Quiet hours are between 10pm-7am
Smoking is allowed outdoors take care to dispose of any smoking related refuse responsibly - a $200 penalty will be charged for violations or debris discovered and disposed of by our cleaning crew
No Parties or Events without express permission - please contact us to confirm

All Guests must be registered, if the size of your party changes please contact us Additional Guests (beyond 6 guests) may be allowed with permission and for an additional fee - Please contact us with questions
