Do not stay at this location! The people were friendly, however, the rooms and building was very dirty. They gave me a room key to a room that was either occupied or not cleaned. AND it was not what I reserved. I reserved a 2 queen bed room. But, when I arrived and got to the room they gave me, it was a King room with a pull out sofa. The pull out sofa was opened and the mattress was very stained and definatly not something I would want to sleep on or have my child sleep on. There was also trash all through the room, Gatorade bottles and chip bags - not cleaned at all. So, either they gave me someone's room, or they just didn't clean it. Either way, I went down and they gave me another room. But even that room had a horrible smell (the entire building smelled bad) and it wasn't clean really either. My cleaning rags at home are in better shape than the towels and wash clothes that were in the room. They were mismatched and stained very badly. I saw some bugs in the room as well and the tile and linoleum floor was slimy and sticky. Just overall, not a good experience at all. Needless to say, we left a day early and went to a different hotel. I asked for a refund for that last day, but they refused. So I was out the cost of 2 rooms that night, but I just couldn't stay there another night. I hope this review helps the property to make some changes and also lets others know before they book with this hotel.

Even Griswold Would Be Surprised

Welcome to the legendary Country Inn and Suites, where comfort barely flirts with you before ghosting its promises. First off, you'll notice a placard broadcasting that both vending and ice machines are available—only to discover that, surprise, only the ice machine showed up. Every corner of this place is a quirky homage to neglect: stains pull off interpretive dances on the walls, and the sheets wear spots like battle scars. In fact, if you're in the mood for a workout, making your own bed here might just become the highlight of your stay. Even the American flag has taken on a rugged, post-apocalyptic chic look—like it’s trying to tell you, "We gave it a solid shot." Over in the lobby bathroom, paper towels have taken a two-day vacation, and the hand sanitizer in its machines seems to have gone missing altogether. The piĂšce de rĂ©sistance? Both the pool and the water cooler have apparently decided that water is overrated. Oh, and toilet paper? That’s the VIP of this establishment—only available at the front desk, as if you're on an unexpected scavenger hunt for the basics. And on your final morning, the absence of hot water wraps up your stay with the kind of irony that keeps you clinging to the promise of a refund. If you’re up for a DIY hotel experience where every basic amenity becomes a treasure hunt, this is your playground. Otherwise, you might want to explore elsewhere for something that practices what it preaches.

Don’t stay here

Towels were so worn out that you could literally see through them. Tv did not work the entire stay. N person on duty at night tried to fix it with no success. Said they would compensate us for the inconvenience but did not.

Great place to stay

It was by far the best hotel we have stayed at on our trip. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and staff friendly. The breakfast had a large selection and was very tasty.

4th flr handicap rm (didn’t need or ask for), over $200/nt (2 queens). Bathroom floor drain loose and dropped 1” if stepped on - very dangerous. Nothing like pics online. We expected to be swimming - pool had no water, no one let us know. Terrible breakfast first morn (brown fruitfly bananas), no protein or yogurt. Kitchen water shut off daily (kitchen worker showed us how to enable it for our tumblers). Room AC leaked (but was cold). Curtain pulls broken, curtains missing. Cracked wall pics. Tub heavily patched, room needed sweeping. Pillow cases had holes. Half of phone plugs worked. Room very dark. Hotel is very old/tired compared to expectations for this price. Positive: 2 kitchen staff members were friendly and nice. We got a text asking how our stay was going. I mentioned these items. No one responded. I texted twice. During our stay I connected w/ staff who handed me towels, toilet paper, or said “sorry” re: our issues, but no real resolution. At checkout, I said all of this, and told about the no reply texts. Staff acted mortified and said they’d give a $67 refund if we didn’t post a negative review. I agreed. Then they didn’t give us the refund. I called Expedia to detail all of this. Expedia called the hotel and asked for a full refund. Kerry at the hotel said no. Expedia asked for 1-2 day refund. Kerry said no. Expedia felt so bad they credited us a smidge over what the hotel originally said they would do, but better than nothing. Don’t go here. Try Holiday Inn.

2 night stay

Overall stay our stay was good, room was clean and breakfast was simple and good! When we walked in the room it was freezing so I raise the temp a bit.. Bad idea, at bed time when i lowered it down so it can be cooler it never reaches temp until the next morning. It was very musty overnight that even the tile floor felt wet. So needless to say I didn’t move the temp again and the 2nd nights rest was way better. Other than that I will say we would stay here again!!

Everything was nice the staff was excellent. It was a little noisy and there went any vending machines for that late night snack. Other than that we came for my daughters birthday and had a great time.
