Very Welcoming.

Very welcoming. Arrived late due to heavy rain and the property was difficult to find. The road up to the Masseria was a rough stoney track 1km in length. Carlos made a special effort to make us a superb meal as we had arrived so late, nothing was too much trouble.

Great stay!

We had a very lovely stay. Would recommend you ignore comments about the road as whilst the road is not in great condition it's not really a factor. This is a great place if you like somewhere a bit more away from the busy coastline as you are in the middle of fields with very a farmhouse feel. Hospitality is great and the pool has a stunning view. Restaraunt does good home cooking.

Beautiful if somewhat isolated spot. The old farmhouse restored with a lot of taste . Fabulous horizon pool. Owners Carlo and Heiny charming and helpful

Home from home

Nice small hotel, very peaceful and like a home from home. Car hire a must to get anywhere. Road leading to the property is broken and very bumpy which is a pain as you will most likely have to travel it 4 times per day (lunch not served at hotel and dinner options better outside). Otherwise lovely relaxing stay.

Off the beaten track, but worth it!

It took us a few wrong turns and phone calls to Carlo to make sure we were heading in the right direction, but once we arrived, we were not disappointed. Masseria del Piano is in an isolated location, yet you are still within a very short distance to the city and its amenities. Located on top of a hill, you have breathtaking views of the hills and the city, and the building structures themselves have been wonderfully restored and are well maintained. Unfortunately we did not stay long enough to try the dinner menu, but we will return. If you have a busy lifestyle Masseria del Piano is the perfect place to get away from it all. We will be recommending it to anyone going to Sicily!

Bel endroit mais chemin d'accĂšs difficile.

- Points positifs Accueil chaleureux (en français) avec un petit verre de vin, Vue à 360° sur la mer en contrebas Belle piscine Super cachet de la bùtisse Grande chambre avec terrasse, avec une clim efficace et silencieuse. - Points négatifs l'accÚs difficile via une petite route en mauvais état qui grimpe jusqu'à l'hÎtel , se termine par un chemin de 700m à peine carrossable . Mieux vaut avoir une voiture qui ne craint rien ! Nous n'avons pas voulu affronter cet enfer de nuit, nous avons donc dû manger sur place. Le premier repas était plutÎt bien, mais le 2Úme soir, le poisson et les pommes de terres étaient presque froids. Cela peut arriver mais le propriétaire nous a expliqué que le poisson se mange comme ça en Sicile, que lui l'aime ainsi et qu'il le sert volontairement tiÚde limite froid !!!! Les moustiques qui ne nous ont pas permis de profiter tranquillement des extérieurs et des abords de la piscine la télé ne fonctionnait pas, pas grave pour nous mais l'arriÚre de la télé était trÚs sale avec des moisissures !!! La salle de bain manquait d'éclairage, la baignoire ne permettait pas de prendre un bain car il était impossible de fermer la bonde. De grosses traces de peinture dans la baignoire n'invitaient pas à s'y asseoir . Les serviettes de bain était plutÎt des gants de crins Conclusion : Les points négatifs l'emportent sur les points positifs . Nous sommes déçus car les lieux semblaient prometteurs.

un hĂŽtel presque parfait...

TrÚs mauvaise surprise à notre arrivée : nous avions réservé (et prépayé) 2 chambres mais une malencontreuse erreur de l'hÎtelier nous a valu de n'en avoir qu'une seule et de nous tasser à 3 dans une chambre! Autant dire que, en plein WE du 15 août, nous n'avons pas eu d'alternative. Nous avons été remboursé (encore heureux !) mais sans plus ... Si on oublie ce fùcheux détail : bel hÎtel isolé dans la campagne avec une vue magnifique sur la cÎte et une trÚs belle piscine. Mais accÚs difficile : le dernier km est en trÚs mauvais état. Cela ressemble plus à une piste qu'à une route. Service correct, petit déjeuner médiocre : mauvais jus d'orange, produits de base... alors que cela ne coûterait pas bien cher de faire un petit effort sur la qualité. Il ne manque pas grand chose pour que cet hÎtel devienne top : un peu de générosité ?

Come affermato anche dal proprietario, posto adatto piĂč agli stranieri che agli italiani. Il motivo? Noi italiani siamo piĂč esigenti e potremmo lamentarci per la strada sterrata Ăš piena di buche per arrivarci, per le asciugamani che sembra abbiano piĂč di 10 anni presenti in camera, per l'inesistenza dello sponsorizzato campo da golf (chiuso da anni) oppure per la cena che ti costa 30 euro a persona (oltre il vino, cantine anonime ad almeno 25 euro a bottiglia) propinata come tipico siciliano ma in realtĂ  di scarsissimo livello.

Wonderful place with amazing views

This place is great if you are a couple who are in need of a nice relaxing get away. Its calm and beautiful. The hosts, especially Carlo, are really great and helpful in every way. We loved our stay even though we had bad luck with the weather the first days.

Vi valgte hotellet ud fra Þnsket om et smukt og roligt sted. Stedet er smukt, men det var en stor skuffelse, at vi alligevel skulle ned til turistomrÄdet for at spise. PÄ hotels.com stÄr det anfÞrt, at der er restaurant, men det viste sig, at man skulle have bestilt maden om morgenen. Det burde have vÊret oplyst. NÄr jeg giver omrÄdet lav karakter, skyldes det, at det var meget svÊrt at finde. Vi talte med to andre par, som ogsÄ havde mÄtte kÞre meget rundt for at finde det.

En Siciliansk opplevelse.

Veien til hotellet var elendig- men den fÞrer til et flott sted og det er vÊrd mÞyen. Et sjeldent hjelpsomt og imÞtekommende vÊrtskap som tok godt vare pÄ sine gjester. Nydelig utsikt og flotte turmuligheter i det Sicilianske landskapet. Middagen : 4 retter, 4 stjerners. Hyggelige fellesrom og stort svÞmmebasseng med fine solstoler. Anbefales!

Prima B&B , verzorgde kamers , mooi uitzicht vanuit de bergen . Goede service, je kunt tegen betaling sĂĄvonds dineren voor 28 euro p.p Fijne uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes naar o.a Palermo en Cefalu. Minpunt is het laatste stuk landweg naar de B&B, ruim 1 kilometer , deze is zeer slecht begaanbaar.

trop cher pour la qualité obtenue

L'hotel est indiquĂ© Ă  Colessano (route en lacets difficile Ă  atteindre) or il n'est pas du tout lĂ  mais sur la cĂŽte ! Un long trajet effectuĂ© pour rien donc. Tout est neuf, mais les chambres sont trĂšs proches l'une de l'autre et les murs trĂšs fins (on est gĂȘnĂ© par le moindre bruit des voisins). pour atteindre l'hotel, c'est une piste cahoteuse de 5 km. une fois sur place, l'hotel propose une seule formule de repas Ă  30 euros par personne. La piscine Ă©tait sans eau le 28 avril.

LĂ€ndlich Idylle

Sehr schönes Hotel, auf den Überresten eines alten Gutshofs errichtet. Die Besitzer erzeugen eine familiĂ€re AtmosphĂ€re. Abends kann auf Wunsch vor Ort gegessen werden. Die KĂŒche ist sizilianisch; mit frischer Ware vom Markt und kann es problemlos mit den meisten Restaurants aufnehmen. Hervorheben möchte ich den "Aufenthaltsraum" - geschmackvoll/lĂ€ndlich eingerichtet, der einfach zum Verweilen und lesen einlĂ€dt. Das Hotel war wĂ€hrend wir dort waren ausgebucht. Jedoch gab es nie den Eindruck der "ÜberfĂŒllung".

Das Kleinod in Sizilien, sehr empfehlenswert

Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits. Es ist ein liebevoll restaurierter alter Bauernhof wo man sich in gemĂŒtlichem Ambiente erholen kann. DIe Inhaber (ein Ehepaar) sind ganz zauberhafte Gastgeber. Sehr schön eingerichete Zimmer und ein Gemeinschaftsbereich der eingerichtet ist wie ein großes Wohnzimmer laden ein, auch mal einen Tag die Seele baumeln zu lassen ohne wegzufahren. FĂŒr alle die Ruhe suchen genau das Richtige. Man fĂŒhlt sich wie in einer großen Familie und bekommt leicht Kontakt zu den anderen GĂ€sten. Wer will wird aber auch in Ruhe gelassen. Wer stressfrei italienisches Essen probieren möchte, braucht sich nur die Inhaber zu wenden und fĂŒr den Abend seine Teilnahme anzukĂŒndigen. Abends wir dann von den beiden Inhabern ein leckeres MenĂŒ serviert. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
