In the heart of the old town of Colmar, listed as a historic monument, the Sous les Tilleuls apartment is a superb 80mÂČ accommodation, decorated with great charm. It is located in a quiet building at the foot of the Dominican church and its Christmas market in December.



You will be close to shops, restaurants and bars as well as the various tourist and cultural centers of interest in Colmar.



You can enjoy during your stay:

the living room is composed of a kitchen area, dining area and a living area with a sofa bed and television.

The kitchen is equipped (fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, ceramic hob, hood, dishwasher, classic Nespresso coffee maker, kettle, toaster, pans, pots, dishes and kitchen utensils).



a spacious bedroom with a large double bed,

a bedroom with two single beds,

A bathroom with bathtub and washing machine as well as a separate toilet.



The apartment is on the 2nd floor with elevator. The apartment has 3 steps.



You can take advantage of a private garage (vehicle under 1m80) which is located in the basement of "22 rue du rempart" under the MERCURE hotel (it's 350 meters on foot from the apartment).

The apartment and the garage are not in the same place. The car park access remote control is on the kitchen table, you have to walk to the apartment before accessing the car park.

The apartment is located in the pedestrian zone of downtown Colmar.

In front of the Mercure Hotel you will find free parking spaces for 30 minutes with a parking disc (blue disc).



All the accommodation will be yours. Always in the spirit of satisfying you at best during your stay:

Colmar: A city to consume without moderation!

For Georges Duhamel (who wrote it in 1931), Colmar was the "most beautiful city in the world"... It has also often been said that it was the most Alsatian of the cities in Alsace!

Without going into the escalation of superlatives, Colmar undoubtedly remains a quite exceptional city for the richness and variety of its historical and architectural heritage.

It is located near Germany and Switzerland, between the Vosges and the Rhine, Strasbourg and Mulhouse. The city offers visitors a striking shortcut to more than a thousand years of European history. In addition, Colmar retains, with its 67,000 inhabitants, an endearing aspect of a "country town" which gives it all its charm.

Despite the vagaries of a turbulent history, the city has managed to preserve an exceptional homogeneity of its historic center which, classified as a "protected sector", has benefited from restoration and permanent enhancement. The vast pedestrian area of ​​the old town allows visitors to admire the innumerable riches of a heritage as rich as it is varied, ranging from the Middle Ages to the 20th century.

Whether it is the Maison des TĂȘtes (built at the beginning of the 17th century) which owes its name to the 111 heads that adorn its facade, or the Maison Pfister, a beautiful bourgeois residence from the Renaissance period but of medieval design, each of its monuments is unique in his genre.

The religious art of Colmar is also very rich: the Dominican Church which houses the famous "Virgin of the Rose Bush" by the Alsatian painter and engraver Martin Schongauer, as well as the Saint Martin Collegiate Church are wonderful examples of pure and sober gothic art, of great sobriety.

Strolling through the streets, the visitor, amazed, discovers the many beautiful shops, the shimmering colored roofs... Strolling along the quai de la Poissonnerie, once the nerve center of fishing and the sale of fish, we falls in love with this picturesque district, now called "Little Venice".



House rules:

This accommodation is non-smoking. The use of cigarettes, e-cigarettes, hookahs and any other smoking device is prohibited.

Smoking or using a smoking device will result in a penalty of €250 additional cleaning fee.



Animals are accepted on request (animals under 15kg and not dangerous) with a supplement of 30€ per stay per animal. It is requested that animals be kept on a leash outside the accommodation.



Bed linen and towels as well as standard final cleaning at the end of the stay are included in the price. This includes change of bed linen, general cleaning of the apartment and sanitary facilities.



However, it is up to you to clean and put away the dishes, take down the trash cans, empty the fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave as well as tidy up inside the apartment. If you do not want to take care of this, you can order a supplement called "complete cleaning" of the apartment before your arrival for 30 euros. In the absence of prior reservation of this option, and in the event of non-compliance with these instructions, penalties of €60 for cleaning costs will be invoiced to you.



A signature of a digital contract as well as your ID, via the Yaago platform, will be requested after booking, as well as information for the police file, in accordance with the regulations in force. If the identity of the people present during the stay does not match that of the reservation, we reserve the right to refuse you access to the accommodation.

TrĂšs bien situĂ© au centre ville mĂȘme du vieux Colmar. Logement spacieux, cependant la propretĂ© n'est pas optimale (toilettes et coin salon avec de nombreux moutons sous le canapĂ©), manque alĂšse dans les lits, fuites d'eau robinet de la salle de bain.

au cƓur de la ville

Un sĂ©jour trĂšs agrĂ©able au cƓur de la ville de Colmar. La situation du logement est idĂ©ale. L'appartement est agrĂ©able, silencieux et on s'y sent bien. Son accĂšs le jour de l'arrivĂ©e nous a paru compliquĂ©. Ce serait un plus d'ajouter quelques prĂ©cisions pour trouver l'entrĂ©e de l'immeuble et des photos un peu plus rĂ©centes. Par contre la place de parking est vrai un plus Ă  la location. Autre point fort: la dĂ©coration est charmante et soignĂ©e. Nous n'avons pas eu assez d'une semaine pour faire le tour de l'Alsace bien sĂ»r mais nous sommes repartis avec des souvenirs variĂ©s de beaux villages, de belles randos et de festivitĂ©s. TrĂšs beau sĂ©jour.

L’accĂšs Ă  l’appartement est bien dĂ©taillĂ© avant notre arrivĂ©e, il correspond parfaitement Ă  la description et aux photos prĂ©sentĂ©es sur le site, la proximitĂ© dans le vieux Colmar est parfaite et le parking Ă  disposition Ă  300m bien sĂ©curisĂ©. Ça Ă©tĂ© un plaisir de loger dans cet appartement!

Wonderful apartment in Colmar

This is a wonderful apartment. Comfortable beds, plenty of room to relax. Location is very good, with vendors selling different items several days of the week. Washing machine works well. No clothes dryer, but there are drying racks in the utility cupboard. Bring/buy your own spices and oils for cooking in. Or, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from for eating out. We arrived by train, and walked about 15 minutes over flat ground to reach the apartment. The check-in process was easy: unlock the outer door by a phone call to a special number, take elevator to the upper floor, then access keys inside a lock-box using a numeric code provided in your instructions. After that, your keys will open the apartment and outer door for the rest of your stay. Nearby, there is a little electric-powered bus that is free to ride, so you can hop-on-hop-off at its various stops. Make reservations for boat rides in little Venice. We stayed 3 nights, and hated to leave! The next time we visit the area, I would like to have a car for at least one day in order to also visit some of the hilltop villages we saw from the train as we arrived in the area. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, difficult to initially get there

This apartment is very well located in the old town of Colmar. The apartment is well appointed, but only has one bathroom (in aggregate) instead of 1.5 - there is only one toilet. We had difficulties initially gaining access because there were local road closures in town that Google Maps did not reflect in providing driving directions. Then, in addition, the key is picked up in one place, the parking spot is in a second, and the apartment is in a third. All three of these locations are not in close proximity. This would be a great place for a single couple who are arriving by rail or other public transport. Our frustrations were due to the great difficulty we experienced upon arrival.

Gute Unterkunft in zentraler Lage

Wir haben uns mit drei Personen sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt in dieser tollen Ferienwohnung. Lediglich ein Handlauf zwischen Eingangsbereich und Wohnbereich wĂ€re noch zu empfehlen. Sonst sind die WĂ€nde in dem Bereich bald schwarz wegen der HĂ€nde.

Wonderful apartment in the center of such a charming city

Three of us rented this apartment for 6 days. It was the perfect amount of space to be able to stretch out a little and it was lovely to have a kitchen table to sit around to have wine and extraordinary meats, chutneys, and cheeses from the area. The apartment served is extraordinarily well. It was so nice to have a washer, fridge, toaster, freezer, in a pretty large space. The sitting area was very comfortable. The elevator was pretty large for a European city. This was a more modern facility. The bedrooms both as windows. Underneath the windows was a small creek that was magnificent to listen to as you went to sleep. You can also hear the bells in the distance through the night. It was very faint, so lovely. The location is perfect, for being in the center of town, I found it easy to sleep, the noise was not an issue. You go downstairs and voila, you are right in the mix. There were many shops, restaurants, and food stores right as you walked out of the apartment. We were very pleased!

Charming updated apartment in the historic area

Great location, beautifully furnished apartment, very spacious for the four of us. Perfect balance of old world charm with contemporary look. Can walk to all historic sites, restaurants, grocery store, patisseries, bakeries, markets, etc. Especially loved cooking dinner and relaxing in the apartment after a long day of touring. Cotoon recommended Jean of JFJ Services for a private tour of the surrounding villages and castle. He was excellent and we highly recommend him. Even though the weather was not the best, he made the adventure wonderful with his knowledge of the area and he was completely accommodating with requests. An absolute delight! We have now rented two apartments from Cotoon and would also highly recommend them; they were very responsive to our questions throughout our stay and very helpful with information. The apartments were exceptionally well maintained and the bedding was very comfortable. Colmar was beautiful!
