Location is excellent. Within a very short walk to the station and all the sights. Spacious room with private bathroom and kitchenette. Downside is there is no lift in the building. We would however stay there again.

I love staying at this location! The staff was fantastic and the breakfasts were wonderful! The room was cosine clean and the bathroom was great although I wish the showerhead was a little higher quality. Overall, I thought it was a great experience and I would stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location, block and a half from the central train station (Hauptbonhof), and the Cathedral. We had a studio apartment. The staff was incredible. The breakfast was fantastic, with outstanding and I mean outstanding, service. The desk staff were very helpful in giving directions and printing tickets to events that we purchased online. We would stay there again without question.

Good option in a perfect location

The hotel was in a perfect location, just a few minute walk from the Dom. Simple, but very clean with good beds. Staff should be specially mentioned (reception, breakfast room) as it was superb, very helpful and delivered the best service ever! Very good breakfast: layout, choice, very good coffee. Can not fault it in any way. To be mentioned, that the reception and the breakfast room is in a sister hotel on the same road (1min walk). The check-in late at night can be that bit trickier (reception closed) and you will need to walk down the road for the breakfast.

I would recommend this hotel.

The room was spotless and extremely comfortable. It was decorated beautifully with floral wallpaper, and soft furnishings to match.

Staff friendly and professional. Great breakfasts. Location good for centre of Cologne (although walking through train station at night not particularly pleasant). Annex room dark, tv not working properly (stuck on one channel), toilet continued to flush all night. We asked ot be moved to main part of hotel which was much nicer.

small but central

I had to check in at a different location to where I was staying. Breakfast was also in that location so I had to put a coat on and walk to breakfast down the road every morning. Breakfast needs to have more hot food - not small crudites ans sweets. I was hungry and had to eat again after breakfast elsewhere. Room was very small. no wardrobe. Radiator kept making squeaking noises. Duvet was too thin. Pillow was square so I bought my own luckily. No bar in hotel. main good points were proximity to hbf. would probably stay somewhere else next time with bigger room and restaurant in same building as my room.

Absolutely wonderful location! So close to everything! Clean, staff was friendly enough, and the bed was pretty comfortable. Not bad at all for the price!

The staff were attentive and very helpful. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had. The beds and rooms were comfortable. The location is superb- very close to the train station and easy walking to the river and main city areas. It was quiet. Would stay again.

it feels more of a hostel. Check in staff was excellent. Room was the smallest i had ever stayed in. Doors close loudly and room was very tiny making it difficult to move around the room. Excellent breakfast though. Lots of choices and excellent staff member at the breakfast.

A lack of tea/coffee making in the room and no air con. Also the hotel has no lounge/bar. This is a good hotel for an overnight stay or for those planning to be out of the room all day as it was not possible to sit and relax anywhere. Very pleasant staff and a good selection at breakfast are positives.

Too expensive for what you get!

The location was good and the room was clean but tiny. There was not even space for a wardrobe so I kept my dresses in my suitcase. There were only a few tables for breakfast so all of them were taken and I had to have my breakfast at the reception on a spare table. Not worth the money I spent. I wouldn’t go back, way too expensive for what I got.
