Summary:
Stay in a quiet neighborhood within a 10 minute walk to Colorado College campus. Enjoy your morning coffee with a view of Pike's Peak mountain right from the front porch. Spacious kitchen stocked with pots, pans, utensils and other essentials so you can feel at home. Big dinning room table for games and gathering with family & friends.
Stay cool in summer months with air conditioning and fans.

The Space:
This 3 bedroom unit is part of a larger property with other short-term rental units hosting guests. Located in a neighborhood built around the turn of the 20th century, this home has been fully updated with modern appointments and design. If you have mobility issues, do note the floors change in elevation, which most people are perfectly okay with.

The bedrooms are all arranged around the kitchen thoughtfully. The master features a large, comfortable king size bed along with a private, master bathroom. An additional bedroom features a queen bed, and a third and final bedroom offers a smaller double. There is a full, private laundry available to guests in a separate mudroom. This property isn`t flashy or extravagant, but it is clean, updated, practical, functional and laid-out well
exceptional, perhaps, in its ability to get the job done (which means providing guests with a great place to stay at a reasonable price!).

To give you peace of mind, we have a 5 star cleaning team that keeps this home immaculately clean and disinfected (especially high-touch areas) so you can enjoy your stay and feel safe.

Guest Access:
Enjoy a formal dining room, a large, comfortable living room, and bedrooms each with nice, new mattresses for guests. Have a drink on the front porch with surprisingly great views of Pikes Peak, America`s mountain, as it looms above the city of Colorado Springs, perhaps inspiring a local adventure or just a really great day of rest and rejuvenation.

The Neighborhood:
Located just north of downtown Colorado Springs, this neighborhood was built around the turn of the 20th century and features mature, tree-lined streets serving handsome, transitioning homes. The home is also just a few blocks from Colorado College, a prestigious liberal arts school and many of the homes in the surrounding area cater to students. Just a short walk or bike ride away is some great dining, eating and shopping
especially toward the north end of downtown around the intersections of Tejon and Boulder Streets. Try the Odyssey Gastropub, Rasta Pasta or Rico`s for exceptional eats, or Supernova for an energetic drink or two. For a truly memorable cocktail, try Brooklyn`s on Boulder, serving creatively crafted drinks made exclusively from locally distilled gin. Regardless of your tastes, you`ll find something to enjoy in this neighborhood. And of course, the best and most well-known attractions like Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, the Broadmoor and Manitou Springs are all just about 10 away by car.

Getting Around:
Although there are restaurants, bars, cafes and parks accessible by foot or bike from this property, we still recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in Colorado Springs. Also, we can provide you with specific bus routes to help you get around.

ATTENTION:
AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 21 years old. We cannot accommodate guests who do not meet this age requirement unless prior approval has been granted by us before check-in.
* We provide fresh sheets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and essentials like soap, toilet paper etc.
*Max 3 dogs ($75 per dog). We kindly ask that you clean up after dogs. Additional fees can incur if professional carpet cleaning is required or excessive dog hair is on the beds and/or furniture. Service animals exempt from fees. No other animals allowed unless they are certified service animals.
* No pets other than dogs allowed - we are sorry!;
* No smoking or vaping (of any kind) is allowed indoors;
* Please let us know if the trash is overflowing - we will fix that for you!;
* Property has security cameras

* One bedroom Long-Term Tenant lives in the unit above.
* Just a quick note about the washer: to help avoid water splashing onto the floor, please don’t fill the tub more than 2/3 full. Overloading the washer can cause occasional leaks during the cycle.

-This house is dog friendly, Please be respectful of those who will stay after you by cleaning up all pet waste and disposing of it in the large trash bins. Thank you in advance!
* Dogs are welcome for an additional fee ($75 per dog). 3 dogs max. All dogs must be approved before check-in. No other animals are permitted unless they are Certified service animals. There are no charges for service animals.

Please see house rules or the rental property agreement when you book for more information about how the damage waiver works. Because the damage waver fee is Non-Refundable; If a Guest changes properties for any reason they May be charged a new damage waver fee for the new property at the discretion of the property Manager.

Please be advised that we ask all guests to complete our secure, online guest verification portal after your reservation is created. Similar to hotels requiring photo ID upon check-in, we ask that guests provide a copy of their Government Issued ID, matching selfie and credit card to verify identity. This is used to prevent fraudulent reservations, identity verification and for the safety of all guests and homes. We take data security very seriously. All information entered into this form is encrypted and transmitted securely over SSL.

Everything was clean and there was great communication. We wanted a place with a hot tub and they have extra towels to use for the hot tub which was nice. They even allowed us to have a late checkout since they didn't have a booking that night.

Cheap property, everything. The One positive was it was well stocked with towels. Felt like the college students who had been renting for many many many years just moved out and ownership said spend as little as possible getting ready for short term. Rooms stabbed on over various additions. Very low quality bathrooms, furniture, et al. I'd never stay there again; and never would have to begin with had the listing accurately depicted or described the conditions. Wholly disappointing. Yuck

Quaint triplex

We enjoyed our stay but didn’t realize this was a triplex when we booked. We heard lots of noises from above us from the people just walking around. This is a very old farmhouse type home. We had to be careful where we stepped because of the uneven floors and stepping down into the bedrooms. The bathrooms were tiny, steeply sloped, and the toilets were situated downhill and very low, so it would be hard for older people or people with walking problems to stay here. The fan in the master bedroom had lots of visible dust on it. The third bedroom was not much bigger than the double bed in it and we heard noises all night.

adequate lodging

The description of the property is accurate. The location is good, and the house has lots of space and is very bright and cheerful because of the many windows. It was mostly clean when we checked in, though there were dirty dishes in the kitchen cabinets and some of the towels had faint stains. The beds were comfortable. Our only real issue was that the property manager (Hoste) has some quite unfriendly signs in the house that certainly didn't make us feel welcome. One of the signs threatens to dock guests large amounts of money if they leave makeup or blood stains on any of the towels. I don't think we would have noticed the faint stains on a few of the towels if it hadn't been for this sign.

House was not cleaned

Prior guests bedding & wet towels still in house. Check in was at 4. We got there at 6:30. There was no reason for it not to be cleaned. On the flip side however, Hoste was able to get a mother daughter cleaning crew over at 7:30 pm and they were done by 9:00 pm. They did a good job. It was disappointing to walk into a dirty house.
