Nice, well appointed place that was super clean and nicely decorated. Included a lot of things that you don't normally expect but made for a nice stay for us in Victor.
We had such a lovely time in Victor and Jenny was one of the best hosts Iâve had yet! She was super responsive and kind! The place is so nicely decorated and cozy. Couldnât have asked for a better stay!
We loved the apartment. It was beautiful, clean, and had everything provided. It was so well stocked and the hosts provided a dog couch, dog bones and poop bags!
Absolutely cute condo in a great historic building/town. Jenny and Jason thought of everything down to the last detail - well stocked kitchen and bathroom - even a pizza cutter! Highly recommend!
This place has fun walks with historic places to read about and beautiful scenery. The neighbors are friendly. The owners are awesome, and we all had a great time including our dog, Baby.đâ€ïž
We came for a short weekend getaway so we could enjoy the nature around and casinos. The location was perfect, super close to pancake rocks trail & casinos in the area. Wonderful coffee shop is in a walking distance, too. We even found Rita the Rock Planter, which was a very short drive from the place.
The apartment was quiet, clean, hip & homey, and had everything we needed. We loved that our little doggies were super welcomed, and had treats waiting for them, too.
The property was very cute and quaint. The property owner was very easy to contact and quick to respond to any questions or requests. Numerous times we seen her at her place of business which is downstairs and she was always asking if we needed anything or if everything was okay. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone, if you are able to climb some stairs.
Charming apartment with lots of personal touches which made our stay so enjoyable⊠pleasant pieces of art, a turn table and a few vinyl albums and even a Bluetooth speaker. Having ground coffee, spice rack, small snack basket, mints, toiletries, even an extra shaver in the event you forgot yours. There might be one or two too many pillows tho :) ( according to my husband, lol!) It was exactly what we wanted- quiet and private. To top off the stay was a much needed relaxing massage by Jenny in her massage practice just below the apartment! Highly recommend Page 2 for your next getaway!
This is a very nice, clean, and friendly place. The apartment owners went out of their way to accommodate our bicycles in a locked location. This was the best VRBO stay yet.
Very impressed with the rental. Very clean, all the amenities of home. Great location in a deep history rich area. Such a calm, friendly town. I wish this could stay a secret forever but, I wish these hosts so much success as they have an amazing place! Will come back again. Have a second rental that looks slightly bigger, next time hope to be able to book that one.Dog friendly too!! Highly recommend for a quiet get away.
A great rental, fantastic local theater, and an even more amazing on-site massage
My wife and I were visiting the Victor area to see "Young Frankenstein" at the beautiful Butte Theater in Cripple creek (we HIGHLY recommend both the show and the theater) and decided to stay a couple of days to avoid a long, late night drive home... the decision to stay with Jenny made the trip truly amazing.
First things first, this is a great little apartment rental... what you see in the photos is exactly what you get. The rental is on the 2nd floor of a lovely storefront building built in 1899 and is furnished with all the modern essentials and amenities. It's quiet, clean, and in great repair, what more do you need? How about a quick stroll down the stairs for a life-affirming massage?
Yep, the rental owner operates a professional massage therapy studio on the 1st floor. Genius... and why isn't this standard with all vacation rentals? To be clear, the massage is not included in the rental, but the price is more than reasonable compared to other therapists my wife has visited. If you're interested, I recommend mentioning a massage in your rental request, just to be sure of availability. My wife gave her session 5 stars.
Finally, I recommend a quick hike on the 2.1-mile Vindicator Valley Trail, which is less than a 5-minute drive from the rental. It's a beautiful little trail that wanders around several inactive, turn of the 20th century gold mining sites and includes a few historical information placards with details on the area. It's more of a stroll than a hike, but there are a couple of steeper sections that should get your blood pumping.
Weâll definitely be taking in another show at the Butte Theater and staying with Jenny when we do. Big thumbs up.
