We had a good visit. Our room was clean, staff was courteous, breakfast had a nice selection and the wi-fi was fast. It was 8 am and we were still sleeping (we were out late at an event the night before) and we hear staff talking in the hallway - it wasn't a short conservation and then we were wide awake. My only other zwobservation was, while we were at breakfast, which stays open until 9:30 am, there were still guests trying to get their breakfast and everything was being cleared away. The juice machine was turned off as the gentleman was trying to find a cup (since the juice cups had already been taken away). Someone came up for yogurt that was just taken into the back room. I understand breakfast gets cleared away at 9:30am but if you have guests actively getting their breakfast then you wait another 5 or 10 minutes until they have gotten what they needed. Folks were frustrated and some were children. A child was trying to get milk for their cereal and the pitcher of milk was cleared away as they stood there with their cup of cereal in hand.

The room was fine. It was clean and housekeeping came in daily to make the beds and replace your towels. What could be improved is the breakfast! It opened at 6, they had sausage, potatoes and eggs in those roaster type pans. At 6 all of it was still frozen in those pans

Beds were hard, pillows were lumpy, no access to luggage carts, eggs were frozen, had to ask front desk for pool towels both days, when asking for sheets for the pull out we were told they don’t have extra sheets/blankets for those even though they advertised rooms that slept six people. When asking for shower towels, we were told we had to wait until 6am the next morning

The room and hotel were fine. However what ruined it was the neighbors smoking weed and cigarettes in the room. It kept seeping into our room. the manager was unwilling to stop the address the issue with the occupants. We asked to switch rooms, which was accommodated. It was just inconvenient to move.

The room was spacious, cool, and the heat worked. The shower one time I used it had very luke warm water, the microwave had a turn style inside it but would not turn. The phone in the room was not even connected with a wire so it could not be used to call the front desk if I needed it, which I did to report someone leaving a dog in the room next to mine whining and howling and scratching at the door for hours, until the owner came back. I reported the issue to the front desk and they said they would look into it but it continued, before I left I spoke to the front desk and discussed many issues with them and they said to leave a review. They have a worn out building (cracks in the ceiling in the dining area) The mirror was falling off the wall in the room, there was no cord for the telephone, dogs would bark early in the morning around 4 am while being walked down the hall, this happened twice on two different mornings. When I mentioned these items the staff just told me to leave a review, so they could learn from these things. I would not stay there again.

The rooms were abnormally hot and humid, in the dead of winter. I have had my thermostat set to 60 for 28 hours. Kids can’t sleep, I feel like I’m hiking in the swamps of Louisiana. I’d bet this hotel doesn’t see an influx of reservations until there’s a function at the Expo center. DO NOT stay here for convenience ~ it’s not if you have exhausted kids. Cleanliness is also lacking. There is mold everywhere in the bathroom. The rooms smell like mold and burning wire.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to a homeless person. It was absolutely disgusting, wreaked of cigarette smoke. Our door wouldn’t latch and we left after being in our room for 10 minutes. 0 out of 10 stars.

Asked for a room above first floor for safety reasons and was given a first floor room. We offered to pay extra for a second or third floor and were told the room was already paid for and they couldn’t change it even though the hotel was not full. When we entered the room we found that the latch lock was broken so we couldn’t effectively lock the room. We were finally given a second floor room. Upon entering we noticed electrical outlets pulled away from walls, a plastic bag covering the smoke detector, 3 light switch plates not secured to the wall, a light fixture pulling out the ceiling and 2 reading lights that didn’t work. Very disappointing after an 8 hour drive. This hotel definitely needs updates and TLC. Will never stay here again!!!

Reserved a 2 bed/handicap accessible room, but was given a room with a bathtub. When it was brought to the attention of the front desk, we were then moved to a single bed room with a walk in shower. This room was just across the hall. It was as if they wanted to keep all the guests in a little cluster. The hotel was not busy and no where "full." The thermostat in the room would not lower no matter what it would set at, it was like trying to sleep next to a raging bonfire. Which could have been avoided if there were actually 2 beds as requested. Did not feel safe in the room, there were numerous times a night the doorknob would jiggle as if someone was trying to get in. The overall appearance of the hotel was neglected and in dire need of a updating in furnishings and security.
