Staff member was smoking outside when we pulled up, was not motivated to help us check in really. Parking lot was sketchy. Room itself seemed clean enough and about what I’d expect from a motel 6. Bed was old but not uncomfortable. Staff checking us out saw us waiting at the desk for almost ten minute but continued to smoke and have their own conversation before finally asking if we needed help.

The beds were terribly uncomfortable, the floors were filthy, no coffee pot in the room, no toiletries, no hair dryer, and no Bible in the room.Will never stay at Motel 6 again.

I had a great stay at Motel 6 in Coos Bay! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making check-in quick and easy. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Great value for the price—I’d definitely stay here again!

Fair, good on your back. If you're older and sleeping on your side, you might be comfortable for a couple of hours.

I know it is always a gamble staying at a motel 6, but Coos Bay was definitely one of the good ones. I drove in and could tell right away that they were working very hard to get all of the rooms ready for guests. I asked for extra towels and plastic silverware and they were accommodating. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was very spacious and had a shower wand and bench for the ADA requirement. The mini fridge was huge and had a very nice sized freezer to it. The hot tub was not working. Something about chemicals that needed to be reset. But otherwise, I was very impressed about how many people were working on getting rooms cleaned for the guests and how fluidly they seemed to work together. Even the maintenance guy took the front desk for the usual gal that was handling something else in the moment.

Room wasn't ready at 6pm

I have up on Motel 6 about 7 years ago but figured I'd try this one and save a few bucks. Check in time is 3pm, I showed up to check in at 6pm to drop my stuff off and couldn't because housekeeping hadn't cleaned the room yet. I told the guy at the front desk thats fine I just wanted my key so when I come back from the event I was attending I wouldn't have to deal with the office in the middle of the night. He would not give me the key so I had to basically check in a second time around midnight. The room was fine but there was no shampoo in it. I'd stay here again but only if there isn't any other reasonable options.

Ive always liked this location. My room was right next to 101 so if road noise bothers you something to note. Doesnt bother me and slept like a log. Will visit again
