Went to check in they gave me my room keys and they wouldnt work so they gave us a new room. Went to 2nd floor and there was rooms with no door locks the 1st floor door to take the stairs was broken and u couldnt get out of it, which was scary considering they had fire alarms going off when we checked in got to our rooms and they were decently clean but smelled like moth balls n oldness. Then next morning got woken up by 2 fire alarms again we were told faulty smoke dectors that were possibly as old as the building. We get back to sleep and i hear a noise and its house keeping they just walked in NO knock no nothing and it was only 830 and check out wasnt until 11. I was not happy so i went down stairs and let front desk kno what happened and they apologize and gave us an hr extra for check out. I will say the young guy and another gentlemen was very nice.

We stay at Drury whenever we can for girls trips, it is our favorite!!! While this is no fault of the Drury property this stay we didn’t feel as safe. There were multiple truck drivers that stayed and lurked and made us feel unsafe to take elevators alone or move about. One of them brought their dog that barked loudly. We also noticed our room had a slight odor of dog, I wished I would have known there were rooms that allowed pets, as I’m allergic. We will be back, but just more mindful with booking next time. The staff here is always very very good!!

Drury never disappoints. Always our first pick when traveling! Coralville is slightly starting to show a little age, but still the best hotel. We had 2 queen suite and one of the beds was very soft and the other was perfect. Kickbacks and breakfast were great. Parking in the lot can be a challenge- don’t hit the yellow posts
