Several hours after a friendly, nice and efficient check in, we could not enter the room upon return. 1st trip down to the front desk eplained that I possibly didn't use the key correctly. 2nd trip down got me an "explanation" that we were in the "wrong room". A "manager/supervisor" had visited the room and realized that there was a mistake upon assignment of rooms. that "manager or supervisor" never appeared to explain what exactly he or she had done in our room. We, finally, received working keys and were able to enter the room for the night. a bit weird and creepy, if you ask me... Nice location and facility, just not leaving us with the warm fuzzy feeling...

Love this hotel, have stayed here at least 15 times! Friendly staff, great rooms and location in Iowa River Landing is prefect for walking to several restaurants and high end shopping and only 10 min to downtown Iowa City.
