Construction works going on in internal courtyard. Understand that this needs to take place as part of renovations but strong smell of paint solvent permeated throughout the hotel, with some planning (sealing off area rather than gauze screening) could have been done to reduce the level of solvent. This could have had serious implications for someone who was immunocompromised.

Great hotel.

Fantastic stay, we loved the location as it’s just over the bridge & straight into the historical area. Great views from the terrace & pool area. The hotel is currently undergoing some refurbishment & although there was some noise very little disturbance. Our room looked very freshly decorated & I loved the style, moorish influences throughout.

Hotel Hesperia Cordoba

Excellent hotel, very close to the Roman bridge and all the sights are within walking distance. The hotel is clean and modern, the room was spacious with very comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and had complimentary provisions such as razor, shower cap and toothbrush. There was also a small drinks fridge and coffee machine. The staff were excellent and provided great service. We were very pleased to stay at the hotel and would highly recommended it.

This is a very modest price at this time of year. However, it still has things you expect from a more expensive hotel. They had cold water when you came into the lobby, comfortable pillows and mattresses, fitness room and a pool. The reception staff were helpful. We left books that we had read and they checked with us via email to see if this was an accident and wanted them back. Location excellent! Would return!

Magical Cordoba

Very friendly and professional check in. Arrived at 1pm and our room was ready. All ok except after returning from a day out we realised we were situated next to the roof stairwell which had continual noise & traffic. Also room 301 was not next to the lifts however we could hear the lift every time it moved, did consider changing rooms however after 11pm the lift use was infrequent. Noise & activity started again at 8am. Bed was comfortable , standard room with no coffee/tea facilities but free in lobby. Breakfast was a good option and sufficient choices available. Check out was easy and receptionist friendly and actively seemed feedback. If I stayed again I would not take room 301 or 324 as they are noisy next to the lifts & stairs. Location of this hotel is my reason to stay at The Hesperia, great views,,easy to walk into Cordoba.Parking is €18 however street parking was nearby for free.

Excellent

Excellent service, staff very friendly, helpful and attentive. Breakfast is very good with so much choice. Good location with a short nice walk over the Roman bridge to the centre.
