Welcome to Oleander House, a one-of-a-kind Port Aransas ranch home built in 1957 and full of timeless charm. Once featured in the Garden Club's first home tour, this classic coastal gem has been thoughtfully remodeled to preserve its original craftsmanship while adding fresh, beachy updates that make it feel bright, welcoming, and truly special. With 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, Oleander House is the perfect home base for family vacations, friend getaways, and memory-making weekends on the island. The backyard is made for sunny days and slow afternoons, featuring a large private pool and a fenced-in yard so your furry companions can enjoy the vacation too. Whether you're floating under the Texas sun, grilling dinner after a beach day, or rinsing off in the outdoor shower, Oleander House is the kind of stay that feels relaxed, comfortable, and effortlessly coastal.
We do have the pool serviced twice a week on Monday and Friday and we do our best to keep sand out of the pool. Because we are right next to the dunes, inevitably you will probably see some sand at the bottom of the pool.

Simply select your gear at least 48 hours before your scheduled check-in date and VayK Gear will take care of the rest. Please note, a small delivery fee may apply.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• A two-night minimum stay is required
• Check-in time is approximate; housekeeping and maintenance make all attempts to be ready by 4 PM but there is no guarantee
• Starter set includes two trash bags, dish soap, two dish-washing pods, one toilet paper roll per bathroom, one paper towel roll, and mini toiletry supplies
• Starter items are intended for one night only and we will not resupply the home
• Construction is always happening somewhere in Port Aransas; we can't guarantee you won't hear or see construction, building, or community improvement projects during your stay
• Cable/WIFI is provided as a convenience; Port A does experience outages from time to time
• No refunds are provided for outages of cable/WIFI or if the city pool is closed for cleaning, repair, or maintenance
• Please remember you are on an island; mosquitoes/pests can be plentiful several times per year
• Our properties are treated by a professional pest control service every month
• WiFi is not compatible with guests working remotely during their stay. We do not guarantee a good connection due to spotty internet on the island
