The hotel was clean, well takin care of and the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast ive ever had.....me and my boy(12) stayed all week and every morning it was great not just the weekends....hotel had secruity gaurd that watch property at night which was reassuring having a rental car. Beach a little dirty but not really hotel fault just gulf inland water.......great location 10 mins from jet skiing, uss Lexington, texas state aquarium and great spot to jump on lime scooters and cruise up and down the beach....easy highway to get to port aransas too but bout 30-40 min drive.

The sad part it doesn't have a pool, I called asking if we could use another holiday in pool and they had said we could use emerald s pool next door but when I got there to check in I asked again and they told me no we couldn't the only reason I didn't leave was I had already paid and wouldn't get reimbursed, so I will never stay there again

I have been traveling for over 20 years. I’ve stayed at places that were $60 a night and places that were $1500 a night. My favorite had always been holiday inn express, until now. This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed, even worst than La Quinta in south side Houston. There was yelling the entire night up and down the hall way, worst part was around 4am. The smell of marijuana was so strong that I’m worried if I get hit with a random at work I might come out dirty. The parking lot is literally used as a public beach parking lot but they charge their guests $10 for parking. The only identifier they use is make and model of vehicle. If you’re looking for a place, stay far away from here, ESPECIALLY if you’re traveling with children. IT IS NOT SAFE!!!
