This beautiful beach house is the epitome of whimsy and relaxation. From the high ceilings and spacious interior, to the tranquil and private backyard pool, this home is just the place for your beach vacation. Relax in the comfortable interior of the living room after a full day of sun-filled adventure on the beach. Prepare meals together in the well-equipped kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances, a prep island, and a wine cooler. Dine together at the table fit for eight. On lazy afternoons, lie out on a chaise lounge in the backyard and take a dip in the pool. Grill a meal on the gas grill and dine in the sunshine. This home is newly decorated with Larry Rackey paintings that you can find at the on-site restaurant. Enjoy a movie night in the living room with a surround sound system and 85-inch 4K TV.
Upstairs, you'll find two full bedrooms and two bunk beds as additional sleeping space. Downstairs, enjoy the spacious primary bedroom suite which has a view of the pool and an en suite bathroom featuring a walk-in shower with a dual shower head. Above the garage is a fourth-bedroom apartment with a king bed and private bathroom. All bedrooms are outfitted with 55-inch 4K TVs.
Enjoy access to incredible amenities, including two elegant resort-style pools that are heated during our winter season. A designated area at the beach with food services and air-conditioned bathrooms. During the summer, poolside cabanas, golf carts, beach chairs, and umbrellas are available to rent via Guest Services.
THINGS TO KNOW There is currently major construction occurring on new homes in the area. No current homes or amenities will be affected, though construction equipment may be visible and views may be obstructed in some areas. Construction has been scheduled during certain times of the day to minimize noise and potential disturbances to guests. The work is scheduled to conclude in the next year. Guests must use their own accounts to access TV streaming.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 1.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Beautiful
We absolutely loved our stay here…and having our own private pool was PERFECT. The kids could wake up swimming and not have to stop when it was time to go fix dinner!

Palmilla 145 Sunrise Ave
We had a great family vacation in Port Aransas. This is home is absolutely beautiful and very spacious with everything you would need. We just had a few issues inside the home with the low water pressure in all of the showers, water doesn't get real hot, and AC had a hard time cooling the house especially upstairs. We noticed in the bedrooms there was only 1 vent in the large bedrooms/tall ceilings which makes it hard to cool off on super hot days. Other than that everything was GREAT!

Great vacation home, a few issues, but overall pretty good
Enjoyed our stay, would stay here again for sure; although the home is a bit over-priced for what you get, when compared to the large inventory of rentals in Pamilla Beach and cost to rent each (we booked late, so not necessarily complaining, but worth noting).
The good:
Great layout/floor plan
New furnishings
Well equipped with just about everything you need (kitchen, games)
Excellent wifi
Excellent SMART TVs in all living areas and BRs
AC blows COLD
Central humidifier works amazingly well.
W/D worked great - large capacity, latest technology, totally awesome.
The not so good:
Ring Cameras everywhere - not necessarily an issue, but not disclosed anywhere on the listing or paperwork. Prefer transparency with cameras. Felt a bit weird and never stopped feeling a bit weird.
Pool not maintained well. Dirty when we got there and not cleaned effectively during our stay.
Some of the shutters (blinds) broken beyond repair and not functional (2nd floor, hallway, which was made into a bunkroom) - not a big deal, but such a nice house, would seem to be on top of that kind of stuff.
Gas BBQ not usable. Looks like to have never been cleaned; like, ever.
Trash bins not emptied from prior guest and had to haul our trash to a dumpster our entire stay.
Most significant issue for our stay:
Smoke alarms not maintained. Low battery warning at 130a our first night, which sent a chain of low battery warnings throughout the entire alarm system (as they are linked). Ceilings are too high to reach so not an easy fix for a guest (nor should it be). Maintenance "dispatched" at 230a, due to the urgent nature of the issue. Arrived just before noon. No sleep the first night, Constant beep throughout the chain of alarms. Maintenance had a ladder so they resolved once there, but the 8+ hours of constant chirping was a HOOT (no pun intended).

Great house!
This house has a great layout & private pool. It’s one of the first houses we have ever stayed at that has a stocked kitchen with tons of kitchen items, cleaning supplies and awesome beach towels. There were a few small things (loose door handles, pantry door jammed), but nothing we couldn’t live with. Would completely stay in this house again!!
