Stunning stone cottage on Bath's doorstep

A beautiful stone farm cottage, in the heart of the countryside, very close to Bath. Originally farm stables, this charming cottage has now been fully modernised and benefits from a dramatic double height ceiling with original exposed beams. Surrounded by stunning countryside for you to explore you are also just a stones throw from the world heritage City of Bath with it's Roman Baths, Thermae Spa, numerous eateries and bars and bustling city streets.



The Space:

Full of history, this beautiful cottage has thick stone walls to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter. It is very comfortable and you will feel yourself relax as you step inside. The double height, beamed living area is especially lovely and it includes a log wood burner, seated dining area, cosy sofa and large TV.



Leading off the living room area are a separate kitchen and a separate bathroom. Stairs lead up to the bedroom on a large mezzanine. The bedroom has a double bed and large fitted wardrobe.



The Neighborhood:

This cottage is surrounded by the most picturesque, and peaceful countryside. The Northy Arms pub is a moment away and does yummy suppers and breakfasts and there is a wonderful curry house that delivers called The Bengal Bear - really good food.

The cottage is a 12 minute drive into the historic city of Bath with its elegant architecture and bustling city streets. Bath offers the UK's only thermal spa waters which you can enjoy at the Thermae Spa. The historic Roman Baths, Longleat Safari Park, Stonehenge, Avebury, Castle Combe, Wells and Glastonbury are all within easy reach.



Getting Around:

It is easy to access the cottage with a car and you are given an allocated parking space. It is also possible to visit by train and getting a taxi to the annex at the train station.
