VIP Guests and Parents:
It is your responsibility to mind your children and pets to obey the House, Pool, and Garage Rules for everyone`s safety. Please take a minute to read over the RULES so IF there are no misunderstandings if we need to take action to enforce them, especially for safety reasons. Thank you very much and have a fantastic vacation!
HOUSE RULES:
1. Parents are expressly responsible for protecting yourself, your children and dogs from any kind of destructive or dangerous behavior during your stay.
2. If something gets broken, please report it to us immediately. Again, accidents happen, and we have insurance for these unforeseen events.
3. Please DEFLATE and FOLD UP and PUT AWAY air mattresses when finished.
4. Please put furniture and all indoor fixtures like dishes, pots and pans, games, TV remotes, and all other items back where you originally found them when finished.
5. PETS ARE STRICTLY FORBIDDEN ON OUR BEDS! DO NOT REMOVE THE BAMBOO MATTRESS COVERS. We file an insurance claim and may withhold the security deposit if we find pet urine on the bed. A good mattress starts around $3,000!
6. DO NOT REMOVE THE BAMBOO MATTRESS PROTECTORS FROM THE BEDS! WE CHARGE $100 off the security deposit for tampering with mattress protectors.
7. Please pay close attention when cooking and try not to burn the pans as it can be dangerous. We file insurance claims to replace them.
8. Please use aluminum foil on the bottom of oven for baking projects.
9. PLEASE TURN LIGHTS & WATER OFF WHEN FINISHED.
10. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE DOORS AND WINDOWS OPEN WHILE RUNNING AC ON EXTREMELY COLD TEMPERATURES, I am not in the business of cooling the neighborhood. DO NOT turn the temperature below 70 degrees.
11. Please DO NOT take the batteries out of the remote controls.
12. Please clean the BBQ Grills after every use. WE CHARGE AN EXTRA $25 FROM THE DEPOSIT if the grills are left a mess after check-out.
13. Please bring garbage cans to the curb on regular garbage pick-up schedule; Sunday and Wednesday nights. Recycle Blue Bin is Sunday night only.
14. Pick up dog poop and dispose of it in the garbage. WE CHARGE AN EXTRA $50 to pick up your DOGâS POOP!
15. If you park on the lawn be very careful that you don`t run over and break things.
16. Please put outdoor games, sports equipment, outdoor furniture and fixtures back where you found them when you finish using them.
17. PLEASE PARK ON THIS PROPERTY ONLY AND NOT ACROSS THE STREET.
18. Please operate your watercraft with courtesy and care. DO NOT bring and/or operate uninsured land or water vehicles on this property. Use your insured vehicles at your own risk.
19. You are welcome to use our `INFLATABLE` kayaks. However, DO NOT drag them on the ground at any time because the ground will tear the bottoms and destroy them.
20. Please be polite to other boaters. COMMON COURTESY goes a long way.
BOATING & GARAGE RULES:
You are welcome and have my express permission to use items that are manufactured for having fun, like toys, bikes, fishing gear and water sports contraptions. etc....
1. Please DO NOT dig around into boxes or shelves that contain household supplies, tools, and things we use to maintain the property. They DO NOT belong to you and are NOT part of the vacation rental offering.
2. Please DO NOT ASSUME that prior guests may have left some extra items behind. It is in fact NOT OK to take our things that do not belong to you.
3. We do account for what we have here and will charge the deposit for missing items AS THE INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS. Broken items are accidents; but fear not we have insurance in place to handle those situations.
4. Please PUT THINGS THAT YOU USE BACK where they came from; on the shelves and/or in the general location. PLEASE BE POLITE AND RINSE/WASH SAND & DIRT off the coolers, beach equipment, and bikes before you put them away.
5. PLEASE TURN OFF LIGHTS in the garage AND PLEASE TURN OFF LIGHTS when finished in any part of the house.
6. DO NOT FOR ANY REASON TAMPER WITH ELECTRICAL PANELS OR WIRES, plumbing equipment, AC equipment, pool equipment and/or fixtures. If there is a problem please report it to me immediately.
