Free breakfast was disappointing. Food was lacking. Floor of dining are was dirty, and no one had put out eggs for people dining. Juice was watery as well. The carpeting in the halls needs to be replaced.

When I checked in the bedsheets had black stains on three areas. There were two long hairs on the bedsheets. Wax like stains in the carpet, bed sham and chair. Long mirror in room had spots all on the bottom of the mirror.

This was a pretty run down Holiday Inn Express. It wasn’t up to the normal standards we have come to expect from this hotel chain. The towels felt super old and scratchy to use. The whole place was a little dated and dirty. The breakfast wasn’t kept stocked and the pancake maker was broken. We were pretty disappointed with the lower quality of this location. We would not stay here again.

Not exaggerating. This was one of the best hotel stays we have had. We actually wished we could have stayed longer. The lobby is stunning with southwest decor and had two elegant side staircases meeting overhead. Our room had the same decor and even had a little curtained off area with bunkbeds. The staff were polite and helpful. With a 15 minute drive to the Mesa Verde Park entrance it was an amazing find considering the value and price.

Great stay. Very clean and beds were comfortable. AC was noisy, but most are. Room was quiet. Nice breakfast. Area felt safe. Would stay there again for a visit to Mesa Verde.

Great location - the planned update is needed. This hotel is conveniently located and offers breakfast (although it was stripped bare by the time we got there). PROS: -Fairly comfortable beds -Passable blackout curtains -Indoor pool area open late (and separate from main hotel) CONS: -Carpeting is in need of replacement -large stone shelf in shower is at just the right level to konk you in the head if you're not careful stepping in

Appears to me to be a repurposed property, but in pretty good shape. Not everything works as it should. Went out the back door to practice my instrument and the re-entry lock didn't work (broken), nor did the door lock at the door into the pool area. Walked around the building and got in (probably needed the walk), but still... Breakfast was pretty good, but the breakfast attendant was not particularly attentive to whether items were available. Don't close the place down, but step up a bit if you want top marks.

Room was clean but had other issues not associated to cleanliness. The bathroom sink drained slowly and would fill up. TV didn't work well. It would constantly freeze up and buffer. Screen in room was broke and wouldn't shut properly. Was able to move to another room for our final night and that room was fine.
