Beautiful and quiet location surrounded by nature. The donkeys and sheep in the pasture were an added bonus. Description was accurate. If you want quiet and comfort this is your spot!
I need to better planning things. When we arrived my wife nearly cried. Converted garage. Tight bathroom. Sink not centered on the pedestal, outlets too high to plug things in, vanity light plugged in with an orange extension cord, bathroom window cracked, it said no pets but the cat seemed to want to stay in there and my wifeâs allergies kicked in. The bed was adequate. Did not meet the owners but they responded quickly and were accommodating via text. For the price, I would have been more comfortable in a hotel. Iâve been to many 5 stars. Unfortunately I cannot say this was one.
We came during a very raining weekend, but it was still a beautiful location. The morning we checked out, the sun came out, and so did the sheep. We had a very nice time, and would stay here again.
I was looking for a little cabin with a nice view far from other people/cabins. This was absolutely perfect. Host was super friendly and accommodating. There was a gas fireplace that was just absolutely amazing. Kitchen well equipped, washer and dryer a plus! View was good for sunset and sunrise.
There was a super friendly cat as well and sheep and a donkey!
Located a reasonable distance from several parks and hikes, groceries and supplies not far.
We will definitely come again!
We only needed to stay one night but wished we could have stayed longer because we enjoyed it so much. Very peaceful and has a country home feeling to it. The cat, donkeys, sheepâs, and a dog that likes to play fetch was an added on bonus. We will be staying there again if we come up that way again.
if you want off the beaten path this is the rental for you, it is on a hill with a winding narrow drive way/street. our 18 ft motorcycle trailer took up the entire road hope no one is coming down. low branches and vegitation dragged across the top of the trailer. view was outstanding, lots of deer. they have a herd of goats and a couple of donkeys on the property that made for comical viewing. the rental unit could use some updating but was adequate for our needs. I would recommend for the motorcyle enthusiast.
The location of the cabin was perfect for visiting family in Cedar Bluff, Richlands, Tazwell and Tannersville. The views from the side porch were beautiful and the animals on the property were a plus.
This was the perfect place for me and my family. The accommodations were as described and the peace and serenity of the view and critters were an added bonus. We enjoyed playing board games and enjoying one anothers company. The only negative was no wifi password was available, but that lent itself well to more family time, so not a major issue and possibly something I overlooked. We loved it and look forward to the next visit!
Property was clean, host lives right next to the house and was immediately responsive when I needed something. Great little back deck to sit and watch the sunset and mountains. Enjoyed the baby lambs playing, a friendly kitty and the donkey.
I've stayed at this property before and everything about is great . But on this adventure at this location made it very special as how the property manager Amanda and her staff will go above and beyond to be sure that they take care of their guest .I had booked a 3 night stay to visit family members in the area but on my 1st night of my stay I received a call involving a family emergency my mother who is 150 miles north from this property had fallen and broke her arm she was found by her neighbor on the ground . I contacted Amanda right away she completely understood the situation and is in the process of letting me pick up where I left off after things get straightened out with my mother and for that I will always be greatful to Amanda and i will continue to be so.. and will return as a faithful customer no matter which properties she manages . Thank you so much Amanda and God Bless
Great property with the exception of the cabinâs proximity to the property ownerâs home. A little too close for our taste but we were unbothered, nonetheless. We thought the cabin was down the hill further than the ownerâs home. Would stay againâŠvery clean and the animals were a bonus.
We paid for 2 nights. When we arrived my sister became ill so we couldnât stay. We were denied a refund. They wouldnât even waive the extra cost for cleaning etc. (no cleaning was needed since we didnât keep the reservation)
Very disappointing
The dwelling is up very steep and narrow roads.
Pros~ close to motorcycle routes & stores
Nice scenery off back deck
Plenty of Space
Everything you could possibly need in
kitchen.
Cons- didn't receive check-in instructions.
Reached out to owner~ she was
there on arrival.
* A/C hadn't been on long prior to
arrival ( took a few hours for it to
get comfortable)
* Mattress needs to be replaced. It has
a huge dip in the center.
