Highland restaurant good but pricey. Breakfast was good. Shout out to Bryan (front desk), Hannah and Mattias(?) on food service who all made it very pleasant. Laundry was available and used - great if you are touring. Room in a cabin away from the main building. Good size with free wine and crisps. Bathroom a bit dated. Hotel has an exceptional position and the “Enchanted walk” was great wombats, platypus and wallabies all in action around the hotel. Not 5 star but I would definitely go back if walking in the Cradle NP again.

Location, location, location! Great spot in easy reach of all that the National Park has to offer. Beautiful surroundings. Nice staff. Cosy rooms and lodge but in need of a makeover. Wi Fi limited to main building and patchy there anyway. Breakfast offering pretty ordinary. You can do better Accor!

Pencil pine room with bakcony. Balcony surrounded by shrubs. No view. Room mice with gas glame fire, but bed terrible. Like sleeping on a brick and only a double size. Stayed 3 x nights. The staff were very helpful and the room was spotless. The complimentary biscuits, kitkats and wine was an extra special touch and the guest laundry was close by and free to use. The lodge is very picturesque with beautiful walks right at the front of reception.

Our cabin was spotless, comfortable, and spacious, and the wood fireplace efficiently heated the room. The bathroom is also generously proportioned with a corner spa bath. The wet area at the entry is a sensible addition. We were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff at every opportunity, and we even indulged in a hot rock massage at the Waldheim Spa, which was a very luxurious experience.
