LOCAL FAVOURITES

CBMR is great to visit in any season, offering fun mountain activities for the whole group! At the end of a great day outside, we recommend grabbing a tasty drink at the Avalanche Bar & Grill - they've got Happy Hour deals. If you're wanting to head into the main town centre, make sure to visit Lil's Sushi Bar & Grill. Pick up your groceries at Mountain Earth Whole Foods in town before heading to your rental in the mountains. If you're staying for a few days, we highly recommend checking out a show at the Center for the Arts Crested Butte!

Stinky room

Created Butte is beautiful but this property is run down. Our room would have been fine except it smelled like someone had thrown up. Extremely strong smell. The front desk sprayed the room and we used an entire bottle of Fabreeze. We managed to stay there but never again!

Terrible communication about what to expect

We were under the impression that we would have a hot tub, bar and grill, beautiful views. This was all false information. Hotel was under construction, bar and grill was used as storage. Hot tub was drained, and we looked out to air conditioning units. Manager was not helpful, not willing to make things right with us. I would not recommend this place at all. It was not even that clean, very cheap towels and decor.

This place was as expected. Nice place to stay. CB is a hip little town. The room provided the comfort and accommodations that we needed for our trip.

Great place for the $

Very Clean with easy access. We did not know there was not a AC, just a heater. But the nights cooled off enough for it to be comfortable. I do wish there was a restaurant/bar in the hotel. But all in all a great place to stay with a family and a great pool.

Good hotel-like stay

The price was decent for ski season through the VRBO but not through the actual hotel property. (We had to stay an extra night due to snow.) Also, the cleaning service walked right in without knocking our last morning there at 9:00 when checkout is 11:00.

Property was as expected. Clean and a pleasant stay. On site bike storage was closed. Great location for hiking and mountain biking and bus access to town is easy and convenient.
