The Space:

This charming 1800s mining cabin is just one block from restaurants, shopping and the free shuttle to the ski area, with hiking and biking trails right outside your door. With three bedrooms, two full baths, a Jacuzzi tub, and a fenced yard, it’s a cozy and character-filled home for family and friends—and even your dog.



Full of historic charm and natural light, the cabin combines rustic character with comfortable modern amenities. The sunny kitchen features granite countertops, a gas cooktop, microwave and dishwasher and flows into a warm living room with vaulted ceiling, maple floors and a gas-log fireplace. French doors open onto a south-facing deck, fenced yard and beautiful wildflower garden, with wonderful views of town and the mountains.



The charming log addition includes two rustic main-floor bedrooms and a full bathroom, along with a spacious mudroom with washer and dryer. It’s the perfect spot to store skis, bikes and outdoor gear after a day of exploring. Upstairs, the entire level is dedicated to the spacious primary suite, featuring a queen bed, vaulted ceiling, oak floors, ensuite bath and spectacular views of Mt. Crested Butte. The two main-floor bedrooms include the cozy Fish Room with a queen bed and the Cowboys and Indians Room with two twin beds; these rooms share a full bathroom across the hall. All beds are made with fresh linens and cozy goose-down comforters.



The fully equipped kitchen makes dining at home easy, while the living room offers cable TV/DVD, stereo and broadband Wi-Fi.



Best of all, you can park your car and enjoy Crested Butte on foot. Restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, hiking, biking and Nordic skiing are all just steps away.



Pet friendly: One dog is welcome for an additional pet fee. Please let us know at the time of booking if you’ll be traveling with a dog.



Come settle into the relaxed rhythm of Crested Butte, where mornings can start with coffee on the sunny deck, days are spent exploring the trails and town, and evenings end by the fireplace. With its historic charm, mountain views, private outdoor space and unbeatable location, this cabin is a wonderful home base for experiencing all that Crested Butte has to offer.



The couch does NOT pull out, so we ask our guests to limit their group to only 6 people for their comfort. We do have a portable crib and stair fences for infants.



You are 1 block to the bus stop for the free town shuttle. The free Town Shuttle carries you between Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte. 



All of our kitchens are fully stocked with pots, pans, cookware and utensils. While most properties have salt, pepper, and basic cooking pantry items, we do not guarantee these will be available upon arrival.



The minimum age for all persons in this property is 25 years, excepting children (of all ages) with their parent or legal guardian.

Please note that we do count all children and infants in the headcount for the property.

The Neighborhood:

This is a residential area right off of Elk Avenue which is the main street in Crested Butte.



Getting Around:

You can manage on foot, bike, or by shuttle bus from this property. It is 2 blocks to the grocery store, 1 block to the bus stop.
