The place is beautiful , the Pinel island is amazing but I will recommend a car rental because there is nothing around the hotel for dinner or entertainment

Idyllic Environment
Posted Apr. 8, 2022 on HotelsThis property is a perfect example of casual luxury. We had a fantastic experience at Karibuni Boutique Hotel. It is in an amazing setting, looking out over Pinel Island. I had high expectations after looking at the pictures online, and the reality did not disappoint. Karibuni was exactly the environment I was looking for. I believe it is my favorite Caribbean hotel that I have visited. With only 6 rooms, it feels more like a private villa than a hotel. I enjoyed staying in the Cul-de-Sac area, on the French side of the island. It had a laid-back residential feel.
Manon and Jules were extremely helpful with restaurant suggestions, and took care of making reservations for us (even ordering pizza to the hotel for us one night). They will also coordinate the complimentary ferry to Pinel, and make reservations for beach chairs and lunch at the Karibuni restaurant. They made everything completely seamless for us.
Having breakfast provided on our terrasse each morning was a great benefit. It mostly consisted of an assortment of breads and fresh fruit. The croissants were wonderful! And we couldn't have asked for a better view during breakfast. It was always a great start to the day.

This property was unique and beautiful. The owners and the staff were extremely helpful in anything we asked of them. Scheduling taxis into town, reservations, boat shuttles to their restaurant at Pinel Island, etc. Its just a chill and do what you want at your own pace kid of place. Loved it!

Paradise. The hotel staff was very friendly, the view was amazing. I enjoyed my stay and will recommend.
