Super cute little inn but breakfast was available later then expected on our first morning so we had to eat fast in order to attend a graduation. Next morning, we left before breakfast was even available 0830, because we had an 8 hour drive home.

I have mobility problems and thought my room would be downstairs. There was a long, difficult stairway which I carefully navigated only once because they served our breakfast in our room. The atmosphere and history was great.

A gem in Cumberland Gap

The only drawback was the breakfast, supposedly served at 9 am (kind of late for us, 8 would be better) but was not ready til around 9:30. We plan to return with more time to hike and stay another/multiple nights!

Great stay. Owner very accommodating and helpful. Great breakfast. Comfortable room. Liked the town and the close location to the hiking trails.

Unusual setting from 1890 era. Could hear conversation of people in room though they weren’t loud. Breakfast was not as expected and wasn’t the greatest!! Beautiful tiny town that we enjoyed!!
